@@sportymcsports I disagree. Firstly there are many countries who do not have the privilege to have access to these programmes in their entirety and, secondly, some of these clips are quite old. I certainly don't believe that these are marketing ploys and although one would assume that in some cases it is the studios/franchisees who post these clips/compilations quite a few of them are private individuals. IF it is the studios doing this, I believe it is very shortsighted of them; many of us are just too busy to sit down and wade through the programmes and watch good AND bad contestants while we can watch selections of the best. So sorry - I certainly do NOT agree with you.

He's remarkable, isn't he? Such a powerful voice at his age! He's really been given a gift, to be able to make that kind of sound without us being aware at any time of it having diminished with age. He will know what he can't do, or can't do as well, any more, but he's so experienced and professional that what we hear from him is still stunningly good. And unique. What a sound! You don't hear sounds like that voice very often in your life.

I think after so long now with these competitions that these judges really only want the singers who can trill every note and sound like an angel, but there is some real talent that is being missed sadly. There were singers performing on here that make some of those judges wish they could sound like that. I think these judges on these episodes hot some big inflated heads.
