It was kept quiet because of hurting his dad and his grandmother worked for Elvis and so it was "on of those things going on" Elvis could persuade am sure, and he 'knew' women swarmed over him.( There was a time in his life he was unhappy, on drugs, and just did not really want to be so rich, he often gave away his cars and many things to people, as he either liked them or not and if he did care for them, he was willing to do most anything, he wanted to be loved so badly and really remembered his old town life and Prescilla, do not think he ever got over her? He looked for love in all the wrong places you may say too. he must have felt something strongly for this person who worked for him and he just was finding her hard to resist and that was it. he was used to getting what he wanted, but in the end, he would not want her hurt really. She maybe did not really want to marry him as maybe she was going with the other man*grandfather*, we do NOT know?) But she was ""broken up when he died and cried and was sick and also took her son to that area, many times and did not take any of the rest."" Evidently, they(even his grandfather but he somehow forgave and still loved her and allowed it and knew it and Elvis did too, of course, BUT, he did not want it out and she kept it 'quiet' and I think it was 'quiet under the cover' thing? It can happen. Elvis did not want the scandal on him or her, and maybe they did not want a bunch of attention in ''that way??' Many do not. Maybe to not scandalize her and the whole family either? (In those days your parents would kill you if they knew that kind of story, that while you worked for someone famous, and did that and anyway it would not be very good) He must have paid her or given her things as he would feel horrible for her and want to help in some way for her child and his as well.. Maybe not to be rich (People would wonder about it) but comfortable? ( grandmother that worked for him after he knew the truth) that is how he is too. She stayed in touch evidently and made some trips with her ( the only one she took with her) son there. But he maybe did not want her having these news articles written over her and her husband did not need it either. That is the grandmother I mean. So it went down in the family "secret quiet book you might say but did come out, but they tried to keep it quiet" Now the grandson will at least mention it but carefully. The rest of the family wanted this quiet, but he has spoken out but "humbly" He too is trying to protect his grandmother and grandfather's names of what was going on* as it is not this his and his family would be hounded with the press if he made it a true factual statement even now.. @A Z Elvis was not well in his last years. They had him on heavy pain meds and heaven knows what else? He was way overweeight and just not well at all and did not feel up to going on stage or being seen by the public in the state he was in. Bing s Sttr ws not reaally fit for him. Many people in show business are broken down with feeliings they must be the "best" and as they grow older and the body changes etc they really feel so washed up and just not feeling good about self. They loose all self-esteem. They turn to drugs and things theey should not, under the stress of being told they must compete. Compassion for others is a good thing. We msut try to understand things like this too. This young man was not trying to hang a badge on himself over this, nor did he say it was 'absolutely true'. He said he 'understood it to be true'. I do not think it is anything for all of us to be jealous about or upset over at all. It is not that important really. Every single person stands on thir own merit when it comes to singing and playing an instrument or whatever it may be. We must realize this. We do not go by who they were related to, but it does make a bit of interesting info. But no one was going to just beleve it unless they had facts in the end,. Anything can be true in life, and anyone could be related to anyone and we are all related to some body.. So who it is , we never know! We must not get upset or jealous over anyone who tries out for The Voice. Often they do not go too far. They have a coach who helps them through *If they win here* and then they go on and often to go certain places, and then you do not see much of them anymore. Not like it used to be when they became big stars living in large mansions laater, as it was in older tiimes. But it does give them some fame and maybe money at some point in time for awhile. Once in a great while they 'get picked up by some grand star from old, and they hellp make something special of them', then they may jsut make it big! But it does not happen alot. It can be such a shock as it cold happen too quickly for them, and some cannot handle it at all. Then The Voice, goes on to new talent and tries it out again. We all love it and get excited over it. We feel a "New Star wil be born!" That is normal. They usually are very, very talented young people! They could go far if they happened to get the right attention. But just becaue he said he was related to someone it does not make him win anything . We must stop jumping to conlusions. But yes, it could be true, it is not up to us to judge. We are related to people in hx and maybe we look like them or not, but often there are certain characteristics that is similar to them. Others may notice it, if they think about it. Just all calm down and do not worry. All is good and under control around it all. Let us go by the talent we see and hear and never mind anything else. But we can certalnly feel it 'could' be true and not have it interfere in anyone they were related to, but they will win on their own talent. All is fine and under control.

I saw Elvis everyday when he was playing at The Hilton in Las Vegas..I worked there....sorry...this kid is good looking but does Not resemble Elvis. There were many times I was one foot away from Elvis. Elvis was incredibly good looking and THOSE EYES... INCREDIBLE. I worked in the slot department and one of our floormen got Elvis to come down and kiss my best girlfriend at the time ( Maureen) while we were working.
