He didn't really say that he was Elvis' grandson. He said it was possible because his grandmother used to help Elvis. If Elvis saw she was young and pretty, it could certainly be the case. It isn't a slap in the face to Ben. Anyone can have multiple grandchildren. I am certainly not my late grandparent's first grandchild. I have about 100 first cousins and many are my mom's age. I have a couple of relatives who weren't married when they had kids either. The judges played it up a bit so people will watch it thinking that he is Elvis' grandson. The young man was being polite about his grandmother if he knows she really did sleep with Elvis. Elvis had a well deserved reputation with women.
