Not because of his looks, but because he inhabits the songs he sings with his whole being, and because of that he makes me feel emotionally connected to him and to the song, in a way that she doesn't. Everybody gets to have their own preferences.

@@Bill26272 he was singing at a concert and i was with this extrovert friend of mine, we can just call her C. The concert was a big festival with lots of bands and singers, and most of the other ones(though less famous than Lavrans) had walked around a bit on the grass where the people were, and took pictures with them. So C decided to ask an employee if Lavrans would do the same, so the employee went backstage to ask him, after a bit the employee came back out and said that since we were brave enough to ask then we could come backstage with him and meet Lavrans, we were then in a background of a news report for a bit before he was finished with that and came over to us. He gave us both a hug and asked of our names, saying they were pretty

@@ChadwickheibergStop spreading false information around. There is no autotune to correct their voices. They use a very small fine-tuning in the sound production afterwards. As when you tune your guitar or piano before you start playing or perform live. The auditions and the 3 rounds where the mentors have chosen who goes through were filmed last year. When they perform live with an audience it will be no fine tuning.. Its done to make the sound experience better for the viewers (this small fine-tuning of the sound afterwards before they broadcast on TV), but they havent autotuned their voices. Only a trained ear can notice that small fine-tuning which makes the sound better to listen to (without all the white noise around), but its not to correct their voices if their out of tune. Th mentors and the live audienot doesnt hear this «fine tuning». Everyone chosen to perform in the auditions are picked out because they really can sing and has been through several of auditions before the blinds. Its not like Idol where you can apply and be broadcastet on TV if you are tone deaf. I was at one live show and their voices sound the same as in these uploads. Autotune can even make your voice sound worse, robotic and unnatural and many artists (who can sing) avoid it at all cost, because of that. Most artists fine tune the sound before they upload a live performance.

The song choice is as important as the talent you have. Some songs show your talent and some are just not your songs. “Human” was not a good song choice in my opinion. If he used this one in his blind audition, all would turn. PS: The show rules are also part of it, because there are too many contestants and you can’t turn to everyone because your team can only have a limited numbers of em.
