The Voice Teens Philippines Battle Round: Heather vs. Jeremy - Sana Maulit Muli

The Voice Teens is a Philippine reality singing television competition for teens that airs on ABS-CBN. It is based on the Dutch reality singing competition of the same name. The coaches of the show is composed of Lea Salonga, Bamboo Mañalac, Sarah Geronimo and Sharon Cuneta.
This is the third version of The Voice franchise, after The Voice of the Philippines and The Voice Kids; this is also the second The Voice Teens franchise in the world and the first in Asia.

THE BEST BATTLE IN VOICE PH HISTORY! What sets this performance apart is how Jeremy and Heather gave a heartfelt rendition of this classic song. I did not feel like they were competing with each other; rather they built that special connection with each other to deliver the song as if it were their own story as "star-crossed" lovers and I think many of the viewers felt it. Watching their 3-minute performance felt as if I was watching a tear-jerking movie. I hope they get to work together on a project someday! I love this! Glad they're both still on the competition :) 💑❤

Heather Hawkins' voice is really high pitch and yet not a soprano. Her face doesn't show difficulties in singing. She has a steady face, without twitching and wrinkles even if she sang the highest note. She doesn't catch her breath. On top of that, she managed to control her accent and if you're not looking at her, you'd think she knows tagalog very well. She will go far and maybe use Philippines as her jumping board to make it abroad. With a good voice teacher to sustain her skills, she will make it as a popular singer.

Jeremy has an expansive and well-connected voice complemented with a beautiful tone and a tasteful vibrato. Heather also has a beautiful voice that smoothly glides between chest voice (thyroarytenoid production) and head voice (cricothyroid-dominant production.) Both have good emotive skills and I believe they have so much more to offer. This performance was captivating and visceral.

Honestly, this is one the best battles in the entire history of the voice. It was very captivating. Heather tried her best to sing a foreign song, yet she delivered it in a very accurate way. Now I understand kung bakit sila ang itinapat ni Sharon kahit na may matapon na isa sa kanila sa battles because Sharon sensed that they have a GOOD CHEMISTRY...sobrang bagay talaga. And Sharon want it na TUMATAK yong performance nila ni Jeremy and Heather na hindi BATTLE but as a duet na parang loveteam. I believe this is the BEST BATTLE EVER in The Voice since it started whatever editions lalo na sa The Voice Teens. Jeremy is the matinee idol type who is a balladeer as well while Heather is a royal singing princess. Sharon has the BEST EAR talaga because she was the one who only turned to Arixsandra who was the winner of Romania Next Star and who was the semi-finalist of Britain's Got Talent (BGT) 2013, but hindi nga lang nakapasok sa final 3 si Arixsandra sa BGT. Sharon also has this wisdom that sense the star quality of her talent just like judging Sarah Geronimo in Star For A Night 2002 and mentored & judged Angeline Quinto who was the Star Power 2010 winner.

I've waited for this tandem last saturday. But i was surprised because what i saw and heard is not a battle. But a performance. Full of emotions. Don't get me wrong but they do have the chemistry. If you watched it last saturday. There was a scene before the performance where jeremy and heather was taking a picture just for to show or for advertisement of oppo. And it was jeremy who look straight to heather while smiling! And that's it. ❤ But for me yes they both good on their performance. Congrats to heather she deserves it ☺

The best battle ever in the history of The Voice PH. The lyrics of the song were shown by these two amazing artist. I do love Jeremy. He nailed it. But I do love Heather's performance. It's hard for Heather to deliver the song emotionally because she doesn't understand Tagalog. But she sang it beautifully. Thankfully, she was stolen. Points to this battle: 1) I think an english 'duet' song like, Beauty and the Beast, will make it more exceptional. 2) The girl contender is not too accustomed with tagalog songs, that's why Jeremy had the edge. 3) But still, this battle left me sentimental and emotional. 4) The quality of the video and audio improved, congrats to ABS-CBN :))) Kudos to Coach Sharon who made a good arrangement, and congratulations to Heather to be a part of a new team. :)
