Happy belated 50th Andy! And Congrats on being awarded an Honorary Degree from University of Derby! *History of a Time to Come* and *Dreamweaver* are two of my all time fave metal albums. And you Rocked the late McGonagles a few times here in Dublin. Thank you for the music. Shout out from Éire!

Sabbat is one of the most underrated band ever. Has 2 of my most favorite Metal album ever! Even better than Judas Priest, in terms of speed/heaviness/lyrical composition!

Instead of hate Andy deserves our admiration and standing ovation for 'his' and Tom's (Allom) Firepower. It is an incredibly produced album from A to Z. I don't remember any other album I was so hyped up about sinceeee Brave New World from 2000? And it fucking says a lot. Thanks a lot, Andy!

Andy is like one of those old school producers where if I see his name it's probably going to be an album I like. I've seen people complain that his productions sound the same, but if tight punchy sound with clarity and dynamics is a bad thing, I'll just have to live with it. Great interview!

Andy is a genius! He took a band who were sounding pretty tired at that point and totally revitalised their sound. Firepower has such a great production and it really helps bring the quality of the songs out. Both Iron Maiden and Metallica could really use the same kind of overhaul, and I'm shocked that neither of them has contacted Andy.

You're back from the void! Always rad to see a new video from you, especially with such a cool guest as Andy. Really like that you talked more about his as background as a musician instead of a producer. Thanks a bunch for making this Christina! :)

Thank you! I've filmed a lot of content of late, will be a lot more up here soon. Glad you enjoyed it! The plan was really to explore his history as a musician and how it informs his production. A really fun conversation. :)

Sabbat + Judas Priest, truly Legendary! Add to that with him being one of the best (personally for me, he is the best) in terms of in Metal Production.

United Abomination sounds great and makes that record better than it is + he dialled Endgame differently to accommodate Mustaine's shot vocals.

I enjoy these videos allot and I know my next thought could be of use more everywhere. If you scratch with your teeth or suck on a bite from a diseased creature, would you receive said disease?

The evolution of Priest. Yeah, KK and Glenn are not there anymore. But they still forge ahead. Ripper Owens should have gotten a little more love. He did a great job when Rob stepped out. And Robs albums with Fight are awesome. Rob will always be the “Priest” frontman too me. But Ripper stepped into some big shoes and brought it when they needed someone. And let’s face it. Rob is getting up there in age. And Priest is moving into the future with new players. They may need Ripper again if they decide to go on. Most people would call it a cover band at this point. But hey, I’m ok with it if it keeps the music alive for the next generation. 🤘🏻
