That's wonderful guys!! I sleep trained my 3 kids and am so happy I did it. They are 9,6 and 3 now and still sleep at 8pm and wake up at 7am. This helps them alot even in school performance and self drive.We have dinner latest 5.30pm,watch news ,then shower/bath, read book/ bible night devotion, prayers and off to bed. No one reminds them. If we have an event and things don't fall in on time , they will start falling asleep at 8pm. You have made the right decision by training him. Suggestion; would you like to try giving him a bath in another room/ bathroom to reduce the bedroom activities ? Just something I did that worked. I admire you!All the very best guys! I love your routine..for my kids 7:30 its bedtime. So by 7 we are ready for story and bible sessions...Good sleep equals to happy and energetic kids.

@Milly and other mums when u are folding babys cloths fold them the good side on top and the inside to be in' where its tourching the skin to be inside so that it doesnt get gums or dirty... This protects the skin of the baby thats why you get so many babys with rushes coz of clothes been dirty or infected by gums. Eg like when u buy new cloths fold them like that. Quarantining from Dubai.

Love what you are doing with Taji. What you might not realize is that you are already teaching him that you are the adults and in your home there is order. Something I found helpful while raising my kids was we started to speak the Word of God. Like when you are doing bed time stories, you can read a Bible story. Then we repeat certain scripture e.g. May the Lord bless you, May His face shine upon you etc... today both our girls are adults and they testify how the scriptures they learnt from when they were small carry them to this day. Heard sleep training from someone and tried it. Let's just say Glory to God I sleep throughout the night!!!! Totally worth the very hard first few days (3 for us, we used cry it out method) and regressions at milestones. At major milestones like sitting up or standing she regressed as she could wake up and stand in the cot so we regressed but Google my friend had a solution! Sleep train again and in two days we were back to sleeping tnrough the night. Yaani I cannot believe I almost had PPD from lack of sleep. It's not for everyone though (the sleep training) plus babies are different. So comparing success stories or progress on the internet is counterproductive. Each kid will adapt to the house schedule/routine. I know parents who sleep past 12 am with the kids and wake up really late. So for that house hold sleeping at 7/8pm and waking up early maybe 6/7 am for the kid won't be a blessing to the parents as they prefer waking up at 10/11am. God's grace will be sufficient through all circumstances.

this is beautiful. i have also sleep trained my 11month old. I have a routine that we follow religiously every evening when i get home from work. i realised my son prefered being fed after taking a bath and not before. .... I will now add reading a storybook to him now after watching this. ...maybe you can let us know where you get the storybooks from.

This is such a beautiful video. I did sleep training for my two babies. The crying it out worked for both of them. Really hard especially for the first days, but worth it. My son is turning 7 this year and my daughter is 4. Now, we just pray and they are off to bed 🙏🏾 it definitely gets better!

Actually I commend the fact that you ve decidea to sleep train him early Infact reading a babies books from the beginning goes a long way. We started reading our son story books at bedtime since he was a baby and he is seven years now and he loves story books to date in fact he loves story books at bedtime and at schools he reads very well

For me I think we all choose to parent differently. And it's ok don't feel bad that your baby is not like someone else's. I have a son 8 yrs old and I did not sleep train and he turned out fine especially since he was a colic baby .First 3 months were so bad but after that it kept getting better ;ofcourse some nights were rough others smooth.I now have an 8 month baby girl ,she had colic as well and I have not sleep trained too.Though I realized each baby is different ,this one seems to have her own routine.She sleeps after her baths ,and at night once she sees her brother go to bed at night it takes her less than ten minutes to sleep. It's silly but it works for her since they have bonded ,she cant stay awake at night without seeing her brother .During the day she has naps and I am ok with that.Some days are harder than others but it's all in the parenting process .so we are all different parents to different babies .shout out to those who sleep train as well.
