If your mother is sponsoring your trip, then she should provide the proof of funds. It may also help to include a cover letter explaining the reason for your trip and why she is sponsoring it. Also provide details of your academic pursuits including evidence of advance payment of fees if available.

For the proof of funds, you need to show an active bank account with periodic transactions, and also have sufficient money sitting there at the time of application until you get your visa. Yes, you can attach up to 2 bank statements, it’s not prohibited. Yes you can use transactions from your personal account.

Hi David, My suggestion here would be to use the remote work visa provisions from countries within Europe to your advantage..if you earn quite a bit then there's options around the schegen area like remote visa provisions to work in Czech, Estonia, Portugal, Malta, Spain and Croatia. Iceland Probably find the closest location to the Netherlands.. From one of these countries you can easily get to the Netherlands not permanently though.. you go and come and it's pretty cheap moving around Europe in budget airlines, buses or trains If you wanna move permanently though you gotta find a job or school in the Netherlands and go from there..
