The way I see it, Andrea and Carol have traded lifespans. Carol died in the prison arc and Andrea lives on. In the show, Andrea died and we get Carol becoming a stronger character.

Wow. This is great stuff with Rick and Andrea. I had a love hate feeling concerning TV Andrea but I really like this comic book Andrea. No hate or annoyance at all. And I love this romance angst between the two of them. If they did that in the show with Rick and Michonne them f getting together would have been more satisfying. Yes I know they dropped hints in the show but it wasn't strong enough.
