I hardly remember what happened in S7 tbh, it was THAT bad. Like 50 dream sequences and Alicia dying, or something like that? Or maybe she didn't even die, honest to God I don't even know what these showrunners are smoking these days. Season 1 was a banger and it had a few good moments after that, but damn, the last few seasons all felt like I was watching one long, boring episode. S08E03: What a disappointment. Dove blames Madison for the death of her mother (Ava) because Madison convinces her there is hope in getting her daughter back (Dove). Hover, Ava dies. So Dove blames Madison for her death without acknowledging that it was Padre who employed Madison to take Dove from Ava in the first place. Then Madison smashes the glass revealing Padre as they really are; two sick children who are forcefully subjecting other children to the same pain they went through. The file does deflate the message of Padre. Padre claims to be protecting the children from the pain of losing their parents, when in actuality, by taking the youths from the parents; forcing the parents to seek them out (as most parents would); causing the death of the parents (inadvertently or not); and blaming someone else for causing the entire problem; they cause the pain they claim to “protect” the children from. Furthermore, how can they justify the cruel and sick experiments they do? How can Dove overlook this? Granted, a cure is the ultimate goal; but not at the expense of innocent people (including children). This should ring as pure evil to any rational person. Weak logic; very disappointing.

Yeah it is real bad writing. Madison only had to say 'Yeah, they forced me to do it'. Also, the sick siblings say they do this so other children wont feel the pain of loss??? What? As if kids never lost parents etc before the apocalypse. It is just contrived writing placing obstacles in it for the sake of 'drama' which just slows down the real progression of the situation.

Yeah I had hoped Madison could return and they could at least wrap the show up in a way that would make the whole show through S1-8 feel whole. But it wont. Seasons 1-3 will forever feel separate in relation to 4 and beyond. As you say, a show about a mother doing anything, as cold as it may be, even losing her own emotion, to protect her kids. But as of Season 4, it stooped Into an over the top, ridiculous, lower tier version of the main show. I agree, they should have bought Madison back in Dead city. Heck, make out she ended up in France with Daryl somehow. Just not in Fear.

Man , I always like Morgan .Not too much when he went soft , but he came around . Him and Darryl would have made a good team together . I always wish they hadn't killed Darrell's brother off . He was the shit of being a Kool badass. He cut his own freaking arm off . This is spose to be all about survival. What better example of survival can you get. Kind of like a bear to his leg off caught in a trap. Yeah yeah I know he just wouldn't conform but I think the writers could have brought him into the fold somehow LOL. I mean if Daryl is a survivor, don't you think his brother pretty much fits the bill on that? Yeah don't you think Daryl could have had a talk with his brother and say , " Bro , you're gonna have to chill , ok " ?
