Rick finding out from Dr.Genner that every one is infected and keeping to himself comes to mind. One of the biggest secrets ever (which you mentioned) is Eugene and the journey to DC for the cure. Thats one hell of a secret to keep for all that time. Especially when people are putting all this time and effort to get you to DC to "save the world"

They were fooling around before Rick was shot. Carol is in no way a villain, totally justified in her actions. She feels guilty, but shouldn't. She is pure badass If you maintain your humanity, and keep any sanity in this situation, that's about the best you can hope for.

yeah, the Lizzie thing could be said to be justified. The only questionable time with Carol is when she went crazy after Henry died and Connie went missing. But she had just lost another kid...that is traumatic.

Carol also had the secret from the Alexandrians that she could be violent towards living people without hesitation, for her group of survivors, like with Mary at Terminus. She later included the Alexandrians in her protection, starting when the Wolves attacked. I think they had seen her kill walkers before this, at the construction site.

Daryl and Michonne's secret was pretty dark. Michonne killed Joslyn's kids but it was implied that Daryl likely killed some of Joslyn's kids too inside the school before making it back to Michonne.

I swear I heard Shane in scenes in season 2 like “it’s a long time coming” etc.. long time coming meaning maybe Shane had strong feelings for Lori pre apoc. Would be cool if we had a scene pre apoc showing Shane having feelings for Lori and being jealous of Rick. I reckon Shane had feelings for Lori for a long while pre apoc hence why he went in open arms when Lori started to mingle with him and hence why it was very difficult for him to move on from Lori when Rick came back. Might be look abnormal for Shane to lose it over 2 months of Lori hooking up with Shane but it makes sense him going down a dark road if he had strong feelings for Lori pre apoc. Just some thoughts.

I heard that Rick, Shane, and Lori went to high school together. They definitely had memories back then but it would be cool for the directors to show a flashback triggering Shane to be toxic towards Lori.

Bob's dark secret: he was an alcoholic. Sasha's dark secret: she committed suicide. Eugene's other dark secret: he was a voyeur. Pete's dark secrets: he was an alcoholic and a wife-beater. Aiden's dark secret: he was a poser. Lori's dark secret: she intentionally pitted Rick and Shane against each other. Rick's dark secret: he killed Shane.

Everyone who's still living has a dark secret. The unfortunate truth of survival. I wouldn't think twice about committing genocide on group that crossed me in that world. That would be my dark secret and why I and many others survived. You have to do evil to serve good in that world. All you can do is tell yourself that you took on this burden so others won't, and so others survive. Who knows what is happening in the decaying mind of a walker. We could be killing people who have zero control of their actions, but that evil action saves not just yourself and others living, but you freed that soul from hell. Evil actions serving the cause of good. Morally, we wouldn't do this in society, but in that world, you have to decide when morals will serve you and get you killed.
