You converted not reverted, you're vulnerable
@maryahmed82693 жыл бұрын
@@OliverLucasMartinEdwards You are incorrect. I did revert and I am proud to have done so, and I am proud to call myself a revert. A belief within Islam Is the belief that we are born with a natural faith in Allah (SWT). Once you take the shahada (declaration of faith) we revert back to our innate state. (Allah SWT forgive me for any mistakes made in the above paragraph). Please note, this is my belief and no words of yours will stray me from this allhamduliah. Secondly, How do you know I’m vulnerable? What suggests in the above that I am a vulnerable woman? That is really not something for you to judge, especially based off one comment on the internet. Instead of telling me that I am vulnerable, even though I am not, and that I am not a revert, you should spend that time focusing on yourself rather than trying to put strangers down on the internet. Or even better, helping people who are actually vulnerable.

@SalamAbass3 жыл бұрын
Dear Brother, reverting is a life changing decision. However you're making this decision for Allah (God The Most High). You want to be more closer to your creator and worship Him the way He should be worshiped. Therefore, don't let what anyone would say stop you from serving your Lord. Therefore, I'd suggest you tell them (Your Parents) now that you're researching and learning about Islam. This would prepare their minds. And try to become a better person to them. Like becoming more humble, responsible, responsive to them, care and love them more. Seeing these changes in you would prompt them to wonder. And when they finally know that you're living or treating them according to how Islam commands, their hearts would soften and they'd definitely support you. May Allah make it easy for you. Aameen 🙏.

Hi Ellie thank you for this video. The part that resonated most with me is when you said "you want to be yourself...but muslim". That is so important...I think both myself and my family and friends were afraid that if I embraced Islam, I would lose my true self to the religion. But this whole time I've been fighting to show that Islam can instead serve to enhance who I am, as opposed to causing me to drift away from the essence of who I am.

just wait ...and you'll see. One thought: thousand of women are right now oppressed by this religion and nobody seems to care about it including women here in this platform. ;(
@Muslim_Convert_Stories3 жыл бұрын
WOMEN STATUS IN ALTERED,CHANGED BIBLES👇👇👇 Once again we see that women were not allowed to assume positions of leadership or authority within the church. In 1 Timothy Paul wrote: Likewise, I want women to adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments but rather by means of good works, as befits women making a claim to godliness. Let a woman quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet (1 Tim. 2:9-12). In 1 Corinthians we read: As in all the churches of the saints, let the women keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but let them subject themselves, just as the law also says. And if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church (1 Cor. 14:33b-35). The uniform practice of the churches; then, was that women should not take leadership in the church meeting. They were not to teach or to exercise authority, nor were they to engage in questions. They are to subject themselves, as the law teaches, Paul said. Witchcraft and Women While men also feature in the infamous 15th century witch-hunting manual Malleus Maleficarum (The Hammer of the Witches), the work has long been recognised as deeply misogynistic. It suggests that women’s perceived lack of intelligence made them submissive to demons. One section reads: Just as through the first defect in their [women’s] intelligence they are more prone to abjure the faith; so through their second defect of inordinate passions … they inflict various vengeances through witchcraft. Wherefore it is no wonder that so great a number of witches exist in this sex.

It's all a journey, we have to take little steps and then we will come where we want to come. I also thought "after one year, I will know so much!!" and I still know the same surahs after 2,5 years then I new when I was a Muslim for one year 😅 They just don't want to stick in my head, but I try to understand and pronounce the surahs I already know better then before and to apply them in my life In Sha Allah. Al hamdulillah, I am so happy that we both are still practicing muslimahs and In Sha Allah will we become who we want to be and love Allah with our whole heart and body. Salam alaikum! Just some friendly advice from your revert sister of 8.5 years. I know a lot of people in the comments are also reverts so in case any of you don’t know it’s actually the same sin to sit with people who are drinking/using drugs as it is to actually do it yourself! I know that may come as a shock to some people but think about the fact that Islam is here to benefit us and one of the ways it keeps us from harm is prevention. It’s a slippery slope from sitting with people who are drinking to drinking yourself, which is why it is prohibited. I am telling you guys this as a reminder to myself first and foremost. I am not perfect and I understand how difficult it is when family or friends or coworkers are drinking at an event or gathering you are at, you can’t easily say no, but I think it’s important to put up some boundaries. I wish I had done that earlier! May Allah grant you all health and faith.
@fatimagh4623 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just like it is a sin when you gather in a conversation about backbiting someone or gossiping badly about him. Islam is the best really, but we're all sinners. May God give us all istiqama & guidance that we never get lost after it 🤍

i.e.: they were not able to benefit you, “except with something that God has written for you.” The meaning: Let you have knowledge and certainty that it will only be what God has ordained for you. You will not obtain a benefit except what God has written for you, and if all the people of the earth gather to benefit you, “and if they gather to harm you with something, they will not harm you except with something that God has decreed for you,” meaning that you know what you have to do with it. You will be harmed only by what God has decreed for you, and if all the people of the earth gather to harm you, and this is in agreement with the established ruling in the belief that their congregation to deliver benefit and harm without the will of God, the impossibility of what is sought from you, is that the meaning is absent from you. , the giver and the inhibitor Interdictions, Fear God in orders and prohibitions to find you in good deeds and acts of worship, and do not find you into sin, and the greatest preserved prayer and purity that is prayer, the key to keeping the head and awareness, which includes the preservation of hearing, sight and tongue taboo, keeping the abdomen and Hawa, and includes Remember the heart to insist on the taboo, as well as one of the greatest should be saved from the prohibitions of Allah Almighty: the vagina and to preserve and placed only in Halal, "Ihfezk", ie: If Atakith and saved it was your reward that shields you from the evils and sins and protect you in yourself and your family and the owner and Dink and your world, and protects you from the calamities of this world and the hereafter; God’s protection for His servants is of two types; One of them: His protection for the interests of this world, such as his protection for his body, his children, his family and his money. Whoever God preserves in his youth and strength, God will protect him in his old age and weak in strength, and he will enjoy his hearing, his sight, his strength, his strength and his intellect. The second type: God protects the servant in his religion and his faith, so he protects him during his life from misleading suspicions and forbidden desires, and protects his religion at his death, so he dies from this faith, and on the contrary; Whoever misses God, God will waste him, and he will be lost among his creation, until harm and harm will come upon him from those who hoped for his benefit from his family and others. Do obedience, and thank God for everything you do, and be confident and confident in Him, Glory be to Him, “and know that there is a lot of good in patience over what you dislike,” meaning that patience over adversities that he detests is a great reward for man, and that is the reward for which man detests. Victory with patience"; Patience is the key to all good with sincerity of intention to God, “and relief comes with distress, and with hardship comes ease,” meaning: God’s mercy for His servants is close, and He makes with tribulation and adversity no matter how difficult it may be for him. All of this is from the prophetic education of the nation. To deal honestly with God, to observe Him in all of its actions, and not to fear anything other than Him, Glory be to Him; It is both beneficial and harmful, and she should raise her children on these good concepts, so that they can grow up and grow up on them. And in the hadith: The urge to preserve God Almighty in His commands and prohibitions Known to God in prosperity knows you in distress ", meaning: Make God knows you obey him, and to work with Oolak of grace; it is the Almighty will reward you when distress and the need for him in this world and the hereafter," If you ask, ask God ", ie: If you want to ask something, do not Ask only from God, “and if you seek help, then seek help from God,” meaning: and if you want help, do not ask for help except from God.

What I like about Ellie Quinn is that she has her Head firmly on her shoulder! MaashaAllah In life many people often engage in Sensationalism where everything has to take place on the two opposite extremes of the scale. Whereas Islam through the Quran and Sayings of Prophet Muhammed Peace upon him told us not to engage in sensationalism and extremism in worship or any aspect of life. Not to Rush. I as a born Muslim am grateful that Ellie Quinn doesn't engage in it though she is an 'influencer'. People often rush and go with the 'hype' and later find themselves disillusioned. It's nice to also to see Ellie Quinn not abandoning her 'rationality' and experiencing Islam through her ethnicity and western way of doing things. Islam does not mean to embrace alien practices or change who you are except for the things which are outlawed. You don't have to become anyone else. Kudos to you Ellie and Please never change.

It’s definitely a journey and I would emphasise to al the people in the comments section who are thinking of reverting to Islam, it’s definitely a journey you don’t need to know everything before reverting, it’s the effort that is what’s important. Majority of Muslims don’t speak Arabic so don’t overwhelm yourself. If you want to revert, revert and do your prayers in your own language and with time you’ll learn the Arabic!

Ellie the way you are dressed in this video is perfectly acceptable to a vast majority of Muslims. Be a good Muslim nothing else is important or matters.
