Yes, that was the view of Hollidaysburg. The main highway was route 36.

That's a good view in the fall when the leaves change color. They put a star up there at Christmas time.

You missed hiking the foot of ten Allegheny portage railroad. Alot of ruins and engine house foundations can be seen on the trail where they took the canal boats over the Allegheny mountains onto johnstown.

Beautiful area! 20 m. north of there is the small town of Tyrone. If you go about 7 miles N. on Hwy 453, one of my 4th G-grandfathers is buried right along side the highway. In the old newspapers I've found, it says he created his little graveyard in the 1800's because he was mad that Janesville Pike (Hwy 453) was being built. There's an old iron gate around his grave, but it's in rough shape. Weird thing is.. the historical society changed out his wood marker for a granite one (per an Altoona paper) in the 70's I think.. and they put up a Civil War stone w/his name on it.. But it was his son who served & was killed in the Civil War. Just a mix up with info they had I guess? His name was Jacker Campbell & OMG.. the stories I've read about him in the old papers.. 🤭

Beautiful views. Can’t believe that person sitting on fence, asking for trouble. Both views were lovely. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care

Well, I saw you were here in my stomping grounds, and I saw "1 hour" on the upload time, so I hustled to the upper overlook and saw where the flashlight had been, but I guess someone else got there first. Thanks for the videos! I love living in this part of Pennsylvania. Beautiful scenery, we can enjoy a few city amenities if we want, but we have easy access to the wonders of nature.

Just got back from Wayne County. The town of Honesdale has a scenic overlook called Irving Cliff at Gibbons Park. Just off route 6 not far from Prompton state park. I know you mentioned you were heading that way in another video.

Great view at the top. Too bad the smoke is still there. The view in fall would be spectacular.

I will bet that the tree trimmer will watch the video and rightfully claim the flashlight. I hope that someday the Canadian government will again assume proactive controlled fire burning in the future so that we can have clear sky's in the future.
