Hi ! Cliff , Thank you for the videos . I think you should visit your grandmother . She cared enough to crochet an afghan for you . I think she would love if you visited her . I know she would be delighted to know you still use it . Sometimes people might not know what to say or do in family situations when couples split. Your heart is in the right place .😼

We had a Cousin reunion in 2013 It had been 41 years since I had seen my Pa. and Ct. family. We waited to many years not talking or seeing each other. Now each year we get together, and we have the best of time. Go visit your family, if it's not a fun time, you can leave. We are grateful we didn't wait another minute. Lost of of the cousin last year, so don't that time.

That was real Cool Cliff. You said about getting out of the cemetery alive. You have nothing to fear from the dead, it's the living we have to be concerned about. Of course you could trip in the dark on a low marker on the ground and ........................................ Be careful out there Cliff!!

You should visit her before she dies. You're clearly very interested in your family history and she can probably tell you some stories. When she dies, they're gone. Interesting video.

It seems that Francis Zeller was a Sgt in the battalion of Col. John Patton and in the company of Capt John Leshar. It should be noted that the fiber for the company was Andrew Zeller. This company marched 135 miles and was stationed at Perth Amboy NJ while the disastrous battle of Long Island was chewing up other PA troops. This info came from Morton Montgomery's "History of Berks County PA in the Revolution from 1774 to 1783" (1846). Only one other Zeller reference; Pvt Michael in Decker's company. They surrendered en masse at the battle of Fort Washington.

Fascinating and courageous to share your family history. Many people choose to deny the skeletons in the closet and none of us are without. Norman Rockwell was an idealist and a fraud. Just like our family trees. Good and bad. Kramer? I would keep my father's name out of respect and love. But I would take on Kramer as a middle name as my bloodline right. You may not have received the love and acknowledgement he owed you but you possess his DNA. It belongs to you and even if he was alive he couldn't take it from you. And, I love that precious afghan. Thanks for sharing this journey with us. You have inspired me to look backwards too.

I saw Clemens on your sheet and I am related to the Clemens, Boyers/Byers/Culp or Kolb/Oberholtzers/Barto families. Kulpsville, Barto , Boyerstown Pa town founders of each town plus many other local families in The Montgomery, Lancaster, Clearfield, Centre, and other surrounding counties.I am going to look your last name to see if I can find it on my tree. I have what I call genealogy fever and I am addicted to family histories. I am enjoying your family search and seeing the names to see if we are related. Also have family members that I believe may have come over in 1709. See if you can find the ship’s name.

I know in my own family line, it makes me sad to see so many kids die young. I know life was much harder and there was no modern medicine, but I had one ancestor who had I think 14 kids and only 3 reached their 30th birthday. I could not imagine living life like that, I know they had to keep on keepin' on :(

In all of the census records I checked, George W. and Kate Lengle Gingerich both state that they were born in Pennsylvania. If one or both were actually born in Ireland or GERMANY, it could be that they just didn't want anyone to know they were immigrants ??? It was like that in the USA around the late 1800's early 1900's... but I'm inclined to believe them ???? I haven't had time to check their parents' census records.

That stinks that family can destroy happiness just because of money. Btw just a suggestion, if your looking for video content, people would love to watch you go to the store like you mentioned you were doing on the way home in this video. People love seeing a personal side. You don't have to be super personal, just a little, or as much as your comfortable with...peace 😉
