Thanks! This helped a lot. I could not figure out a good whitewash technique but now I have one.

Hey Pete! This is one of the best tutorials out there, which is saying something considering how good this series is. I’ve used it several times for Soviet tanks! Have you considered doing one for winterized German tanks?

What colours would you suggest changing to, to make this a Late War German whitewash?
@PeteTheWargamer6 жыл бұрын
For a German tank I would use Soft Tone as your first wash and then sponge over with Desert Yellow. I haven't tried this technique myself so I couldn't be sure how it would look. Alternatively you could follow this tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJu3hGSilKyKmrM And add some stripes in a zig zag pattern over the top using a white paint.

great tutorial, I'd have never thought of painting whitewash backwards. Any chance you could do the early war British 'Caunter' three colour dazzle scheme.

Fantastic finish with very basic techniques. I've never painted a tank (other than the odd 40K vehicle) but want to pick up a kit, just to try your techniques from the video. This might be the time to jump into Konflikt '47 and Bolt Action. :)

Thanks for this tutorial. Just getting into Dust 1947 and I am finding it hard to get guides for doing something like the Cerberus pattern on Allied models. This should certainly be helpful!

Always a pleasure to learn more ways to paint! The end result looks awesome. On a similar topic, do you plan on doing any tutorials for the new Thousand Son models?

Amazing, I first thought you painted it the other way round. , first the green and after the white wash. Do you varnish your models after painting?

This is great, most tutorials like this require chipping fluid and an airbrush

How do you use army painter quick shades without ruining your brushes. How do you clean them afterwards?
@PeteTheWargamer8 жыл бұрын
Kevin Gilligan I don't use the paints out of the tins just the clarify I used the dropper bottle versions which I believe are different liquid bases even if they are the same colour. I clean all my brushes after use with masters brush cleaner and conditioner.

What would you do with a German vehicle winter camo?
@PeteTheWargamer4 жыл бұрын
You could probably do something similar to what I demonstrated here. However you would need to switch out the greens for dark greys instead.
