as much as Anakin skywalker is seen as the tragic hero due being the chosen one. People often forget that it is Obi-wan that is the true tragic hero in the Star wars saga as Obi-wan is the one who lost everything and every one he loved. Qui-gon who was the only father figure Obi -wan had, Satine the only girl he ever loved and finially Anakin the little brother who he loved and who destroyed everything obi -wan cared about if that s not the saddest story in star wars i don't know what is.
