Girls. Dull Knives is absolutely perfect the way it is. In the mid 70s, ZZ Top released an album, Fandango. Lots of short tracks, the most popular of those was "Tush". 2:15 long and it has become a classic. So , I'm glad you don't sweat it and are satisfied with the way you recorded it.

Some of the best albums of all time are concept albums, story albums. Doesn't matter if they are heavy metal, pop, or even rap. The thought process is incredibly complex. Thank you for taking the time to explain a bit of the 'behind the scenes' thinking and meanings. And yes, the best outcome is where a listener can interject their own details into a core song. Once again thanks for the insights into the writing and the music. As to the "dark"... well I personally love it. And, I believe almost 100% of your fan base loves it too. Hard rock has been a neglected genre for quite a while and you girls are masters of it. From an artistic standpoint, the "dark" music is deep and gives your music "gravitas." From a marketing standpoint, the contrast between who you are and the stereotypes about hard rock are an amazing hook. Somehow the " three good girls from Mexico" vibe makes your hard rock hit even harder. PSYCHOTIC is a perfect example. The "cheerleading" chant makes this punk-like song hit as hard as anything the Ramones ever did. It's biting, ironic, sinister, and catchy as hell (bonus: I now know how to spell psychotic.)

I found out about the warning last night when I came across the sweet child cover, and I had to listen to it 3 times because I thought there was some kind of editing it was just too perfect. So I literally stayed up all night searching and listening to covers you ladies have done. My verdict is ,, I was oh so wrong. Not edited , nothing more than 3 young ladies doing covers of songs better that the original album versions. 24 hours ago I was watching a video and thinking, hmmm, pretty good,, now I'm positive I have a new favorite band and I'm beyond blown away by the skill and timing of your music. You could teach a few things to the band's you cover! The Warning is on the express route strait to the top. Can't say enough about how mind blowing you 3 are. I just want more and more. I have read, the phrase “between you and I” has become accepted as an idiom of its own. Apparently, even Shakespeare penned it that way. However, you are correct and Pau (I hate to say it) is wrong. The English language is a mess.

@@lugann603 Thanks for the confirmation. In this case there is no messiness though, 'Between' is a preposition (introducing a prepositional phrase) and the phrase's subject requires the accusative case of 'I', which is ''me'.

The easiest way to remember this is to take the other person out of the sentence and see if it makes sense. AKA if you and Bob drove in the car, you would say "Bob and I drove in the car" because if Bob was not in the sentence you would say "I drove in the car" instead of "Me drove in the car"
