If you loved and supported The Warning over the years, it’s impossible not to feel emotion over what this performance means. They’ve come so far and worked so hard since that viral clip of Enter Sandman all those years ago…keeping their musical integrity intact all the while. Opening for the Foo Fighters at the largest venue in all of Mexico is a defining moment…and a stamp of approval from a brilliant musician and beautiful soul like Taylor Hawkins brings tears of joy and sorrow in equal measure.

Love seeing The Warning’s behind the scenes clips and mini documentaries where they share their experiences and bare their souls. In 2015 DPA watched the Foo Fighters play from the apartment where they were staying overlooking Fenway Park. Wow - In 2022 The Warning opened for Foo Fighters in Mexico City’s giant Foro Sol stadium. Incredible journey! That shout out by Taylor Hawkins, “You sound amazing!” must be even more special now. @@randy4428 Yep Randy - it’s quite a story from TW’s time at Berklee College developing their songwriting skills and stagecraft to now opening for such a massive and respected band as Foo Fighters. I’m proud that the girls got to have such an experience with Taylor seeing and appreciating their amazing musical talent but sad that Taylor passed away before DPA were able to develop a deeper friendship, as Taylor more than anyone would appreciate Pau as that rarest of performers, a highly energetic singing drummer who also likes to come out from behind her drumkit on occasions to take on the role of lead singer and front the band, dancing and performing like a whirlwind. The similarities between Pau and himself wouldn’t have been lost on him, I’m sure! 🤘
