Learn how to develop good aim, recoil control, & overall goodness in life with Muscle Memory. This video goes over what is muscle memory, how to develop muscle memory, and how to apply that to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The bad grammar previously is to improve SEO, leave me alone.

5:00 Something also worth noting is that the brain won't learn as well if you don't get enough sleep. Real life isn't like TES:Oblivion where you can level up many times and then sleep once and get all your levels. If you don't get good sleep, your experience points are lost. You have to sleep regularly and sleep enough to get good. Goes for any mental practice. Not just counterstrike.

Thats totaly right, as a pianist i experience learning new task involving muscular memory, visual reading and information processing quite often. Sometimes i'll play a new part for 1h not getting any result then go to sleep and the very next day i would nail it. The most efficient way i found is to break work into small parts that you would practice for a short amount of time ~10min and going back ans fourth into the differents parts. In csgo that would mean spending 10 min on nades, then 10min on only headshot, then maybe 10min of straffing. It is also important to change the order of the practice sessions to train better.

I have unfortunately have devolved a bad habit from bad practice. When I was first starting out in CS, I would get so nervous about killing my enemies quickly that I would just full out spray at them the first second I got, because I started out at silver 2, it was a valid strategy at the time. Now that time has passed, I've made my all the way up to DMG and I'm still struggling to prevent myself from just spraying. I'll just forget about the first shot and let my bullets just bounce up to their heads. I've gotten pretty good at predicting where my bullets will go but its not reliable. Can't tell you how many times I looked like a complete noob because I would mess up an easy spray. Take it from me kids, practice right if you ever want to reach global.

Thanks for this video, it prompted me to focus on buttery-smooth movement and accuracy first, and speed second. Surprisingly my speed went up immediately, I hadn't realised that in my pursuit of speed I was taking more time on micro-corrections around the target then I was saving on the flick

Hi guys. I am silver elite but in competitive matches i always seem to get pulled down by 1 or 2 teammates. I am not like those whining brats talking about how good they are. I wanna know how to support and help those 2 teammates without you knowing them for very long or solo q teammates. I cant clutch and im not a god so maybe i should focus on flashing etc to help those 2 guys and then maybe put myself in a doable clutch situation

unforntunately you get this at all ranks. yesterday I was playing a game of mirage as a LEM, I carried 27/14 with one other teammate who went 24/18 but we had a guy leave and 2 people doing badly. I deranked and it really annoyed me, but there isn't much you can do in solo-q except try to carry as much as possible. improve your aim and that alone can carry you to DMG and just play as often as you can as this will give you more experience which cannot be gained in any other way. Use the tips in this video to improve in a faster smarter way without developing bad habits and you'll be out of silver faster than you think. Hope this helped.

I'm fairly new to CS but what I like about it is the fact that there really are many ways and aspects of the game you can practice. I'm a CoD on console guy so I've got a lot to learn on CS and mouse and keyboard. So I got a little practice routine...nothing special and not very long, you could also call it warm up. But after about a week I can clearly see improvement and that's pretty cool. And then I get a smurf in my team, watch him after I died and just think "wtf...back to practicing the basics".

I used to practise Rubik's cubing, I practised so long and so much, I could solve without thinking in 30 sec and like move the sides very fast with finger flicks, I hope to achive the same thing in Counterstrike.

@Warowl, Question here. Since I play Counter Strike everyday as in every every every day/ days and hours since you know, I still go to school and all and I still have time, I have about 600 hours clocked in and all, but besides that, I've notice how I'm getting better because in one of your videos you said something like if you keep doing this then you won't get better but you need to do diffirent things, so I 've been doing that and to be honest it's working. Thanks man

funny, when i was learning the guitar through formal instruction; i would be taught a bunch of techniques that ultimately culminated in a song that utilized the skills i had learned. then my teacher would have me practice the song over and over again. when i asked how many times i would have to repeat the song, he replied, "until you hate it". not the best way to learn i'm sure but it worked

Why do you talk about picking up bad habits while playing deathmatch in CSGO, that's actually the place where you pick them up, you get impatient for frags and you lose comp games because of it. Kinda hypocritical.
@iKarambaRotMG
@iKarambaRotMG 7 жыл бұрын
FRLOS Deathmatch is different from competitive, It should be used to practice your aim, no other objectives. So you should lose those habits by not seeing deathmatch eye to eye with competitive.

As a guitarist, this is all very true. There are days I had bad practice, I developed bad habits and didn't climb out of those for a while. It's much better to be patient and learn the right way, than impatient and develop bad habits, while also developing some decent ones.

I've gotten to LE without actually training, I've only played for the sake of it, and I've always been confident in my ability to adapt to games, but CSGO is very optimised that there are so many mechanics and physics you can't understand without training, so I am currently, motivated to go back to CSGO and actually learn the recoil patterns of weapons and how to properly throw tactical/lethals. everything else I know pretty well.

Fun fact from my few years study in psychology about memory formation: You do NOT learn or solidify memories in your sleep, what happens is you "reset" your thought processes removing wrong shortcuts you've formed, rather than forming new ones.
