I really like the dual commentary (not that it matters anymore) - The difference in opinions/ topics is much more interesting than just one person talking about one point of view. I've noticed so much more in this game because of Qtbear, because he was looking at different places during the game...

Watching this was painful. I have a couple reasons with suggestions. Please take this with a grain of salt. First Otbear. His commentary was choppy out of rhythm and didn't make sense. Mostly this is due to him being a non-native English speaker and lack of commentating experience. These can only fixed over time. Secondly, the commentary was out of sync. I sense that no one knew when to speak. I often hear each other getting cut off or there being a long awkward pause. This could be because dual commentaries doesn't happen much on this channel. Thirdly, I believe it's needed for a system to be worked out beforehand like WarOwl comments play by play and Otbear comments on the teams and match. A perfect example of this is 10:37 - 12:10. If we get more of this and less of........other stuff, then I can sit through one if these without pulling my hair out.

I enjoyed this. Qtbear is no commentator, hes more like an expert. But thats ok. he brings up things that warowl does not. Its always nice to have a second thought about some decisions the players make. (sorry for english)

My opinion (everyone is entitled to each and every opinion of his, please don't pick a fight over a comment): Qtbear seems really unenthusiastic, tired out, boring and often slurs quite a bit. He doesn't seem like an ideal commentator, and he seems to stumble over his words a lot. WarOwl should find someone matching to have a dual commentary with, Mr Qtbear here seems too dull and exhausted, which to me, doesn't seem like a very good commentator. Again, these are my opinion, you can share your opinion and disagree with me but please don't go full rage mode and start cursing that my opinion is wrong and what not. Thanks :)

I understand your point, but I'll explain why I think this was a nice pair up. In CSGO, there is only so much to say, on other dual commentaries you constantly see both "enthusiastic" commentators talk a tad bit much. They'll one-up and interrupt each other. Even if they manage not to do that, there is still to much talking to actually listen without being distracted by the game. Qtbear works well with Warowl because he isn't trying to get every word in, but he still makes good points when he does talk. In the end I think two "enthusiastic" commentators is a bit much, but Qtbear lets Warowl do a general amount of the commentary, and provides additional support when necessary. Think of him as the bassist of of a commentary, which I love.

War Owl seems pretty dedicated to helping people improve and to promote passion for CS:Go and esports in general. QTBear might be new to casting in general - casting's not as easy as you'd think. If any of you think it's an easy thing to do, load up a demo and try it out sometime. You'll notice just by talking it's harder than you'd think, and then, if you dare to listen to it, you're probably twice as bad as you thought you were. Anyway, really interesting game. The commentary was pretty solid, only a few minor hiccups, which seems pretty par for the course for any two guys who haven't casted together much.

I think this dual commentary was good. Most people who speak English as mother language may find a foreigner speaking English dull because it isn't as fluent and the words don't flow the same way. For me as a Finnish person it was enjoyable and I wasn't bothered by a Swede talking English =)

I am unsure if this is doable, or how difficult this would actually be, but maybe with co commentators, if you do them in the future, if you could not record their voice, and have them do their own voice recording then send it to you, and add it after, it may increase the sound quality of them, as I am unsure if QtBear's mic was poor because of his actual mic or his internet/whatever communication service you were using

The pattern for case hardened skins doesn't depend of the exterior of the weapon; the best quality is obviously FN, MW. The pattern is random for all case hardened guns!

I would say Counter Strike doesnt really lend itself well to dual commentators. There's no real lulls in the action until either the round is over or basically over with 1 person surviving. Also since it's fairly easy to follow whats going on there's no surprises for the other commentator to point out like there is in SC 2 or MOBA's, such as a secret base going down in SC2 or a set upf or a gank in DOTA. I think CS works best with one commentator.

The dual commentary would have worked just fine if the co-anchor would've been more concise and precise with his words. It only works if he's there merely for the additional insider commentary whenever there's an idle moment and/or WarOwl idles at a proper moment for a short while. *It is not a conversation* like "this is happening" - "yes" - "it is like this" - "yeah". It's supposed to be "this is happening" - "that is because...". The way you'd talk with someone you don't know well is a no-no in commentary, nothing but unprofessional. WarOwl held his part great as usual, QtBear did not raise up to the task.
