Don't duck if you're a low rank. Chances are people are aiming for body shots and therefore you're ducking into their shots. Once you get better and better people start going for headshots all the time and therefore if you duck you duck under the shots

During the Vietnam war us marines used to kill their senior officers with grenades bc they hated them (pretty much) but during the first fps such as doom and quake kills were referred to frags bc of the publics attitudes towards violence in games. Called frags bc you killed other marines in doom
