Luxury trains in India are Palace on Wheels, Maharaja express, Deccan Queen. This is just an AC coach in a train but yes these are the newly introduced coaches. Earlier coaches had not such big windows. :)

They are not travelling in luxary train. They are in vistadome coach of an ordinary train in India. These are specially made tourist coaches attached in trains that run on scenic routes. I've travelled a few times 2nd class A/C in the shatabdi (Bangalore to Chennai) and you will get most the same amenities in second class a/c cabin.. Same seat/leg room, plug socket and meals.. The toilet might be a little nicer and you get the sunroof/viewing gallery.. Trains in India are great! The chai rocks!

Really. Not even in europe we have just good trains. This is so much. Here we have 1 class and 2 class and even 1 class is not so good. Only if is in some place very specific. But majority of trains here have only 2 classes and 1 class is less good that that one. So i understand when they call luxuious. And its so huge diference between classes there.

Being an Indian, i wont say this is a "Luxury" train. Luxury trains of India include palace on wheels, Maharaja's express, the deccan Odyssey, Golden chariot, royal rajasthan on wheels, The Royal Orient.....this is a new train but certainly Isnt Luxury. The Indian trains have some seats reserved for foreign nationals. So you could just go to the train station and show your passport to get a confirmed seat.

For All International and Domestic travelers... This is just normal vistadome coach which cost almost 8 times of normal ticket. The Luxury trains are 1. Golden chariot 2. Palace on wheels 3. Royal Rajasthan on wheels 4. Deccan odessi 5. Magaraja express The ticket cost is from few lacs rupees which is much higher than 5 star hotels and they are mainly for super rich or people who earn in USD or GBP....

Sorry but this is not a luxury class train in India, its more of a premium class train. Try Maharaja Express or Deccan Odyssey or Palace on wheels or Golden Chariot. These all are luxurious class train in India. And if you want more of a premium class experience you should have gone with Rajdhani 1st class.

Sarcasm everywhere,,, they think that we Indians are not just poor and illiterate but even dumb that we cant hear sarcasm in voice... they would have thought they will have to pay just 1-2 dollars for luxury experience,,, I think they are literate with no human feelings which includes respect towards poverty struggles, they only show how rich they are and dont think how lucky they are on having what they have! I have too much respect to our guests but I cant afford Sarcasm

Thank God someone is showing our premium trains too...others used to show only the cheaper one's which are meant for the people who cannot afford...or who are in lower middle class...people outside India has to understand that we can't have every train premium coz lower middle class can't afford it...so we have to run trains for all the classes...including who can't even afford to travel...thnku for showing this...& It's not the only one train...there are Tejas, rajdhani, gatimaan etc .....& Pls do check our luxury trains too...bt thy r very much costly...thank uhh guys🙏🙏

Thank for this video. I live in Mumbai and I did not know there is such luxurios train option from Mumbai to Goa. For the price of an uber($31) from LA airport to LA downtown you get to take a scenic trip of more than 6 hrs from Mumbai to Goa that is a great deal!!

31$??for the same vista dome kinda experience I recently paid around $8 for an 8 hr journey I. A double decker train. But different train n different destination. May they charge more for foreigners.. Not sure

Lol, sorry to break it, but this is not a luxury train. There are 7 to 8 luxury trains in India, but this is not one of them. The coach you're in is a Premium coach.

So a little extra here. The train you just went on is actually really really rare. 😁 That's not the usual 1st class train but it's pretty cool!! I've never been on one being an Indian!! 😂 Here we have mainly two kinds of 1st AC coaches. *(1)* One is with chairs like you people went in. This is typically around 5 or 6 to a max of 10 hours. I haven't seen anything more than 10 hours. *(2)* 1st AC that gives you a private cabin (Rajdhani Express and even Duronto's). The private cabin can have 4 beds or just 2 beds (bunk bed style for couples). 🙂 These trains are anything from a few hours to 2 and a half days of journey!! You should try that once!! The Delhi-Trivandrum-Delhi Rajdhani Express actually goes via Goa but you need to book tickets upto 90 days in advance!! Have fun! 🤗
