I was waiting for this episode. I met Mitch in a hostel in Bangkok just before you folks met up in Nepal I'm pretty sure. Would have been October 2018 I reckon. He put me onto your channel/insta and I'm only getting through it now :)

You are on an amazing journey. Wish you all the best. However, you seem to have just touched a miniscule part of the northeast which has very many very unique sights and cultural diversities. And frankly, you should have entered the Manas National Park which is very scenic, particularly the river that passes through the park. You could have also entered a Bhutan through the park and spend a short time there and check out the hanging bridge at Panbang.

Thanks ☺️ Yes it would of been good to go into Manas NP though when we were there most of it was still closed after the rainy season so we decided to give it a miss. There’s still a lot of the NE that we want to see, so there’s always next time!

Didn't you go through Kakarvita checkpoint when entering Nepal? That is one of the strictest checkpoints.

Wow, you guys unknowingly showed some of the illegal sand mining that's a multi billion dollar industry at 3:55. Do a google search for "sand mafia india" and you'll see what I mean. I watched a Vice episode about it a few weeks ago. Great video as usual, have fun and be safe on your trek!
