This is so interesting! When we (North Americans) think of overlanding overseas it is usually Africa and Australia or even South America that comes to mind first... I typed "Overlanding in India" in the search bar and found your wonderful video

I watched this some time before going to the region itself in April this year, did the entire pre-trek from Jiri Bazar to Namche Bazar. Even if never higher than 3600m, this long semi-abandoned trek was very hard without any porter. But very enjoyable and rewarding. After Namche Bazar, three of us started the Three Passes going clockwise, but after the very tough first pass, the weather turned bad and never improved. Another visit some time in the future to finish the other two passes and Island Peak. For anyone interested in going, spring unfortunately has poor visibility, so November would be best!!

My Dad’s home village of Papingo ❤ He learned to swim in those rock pools in the 50s. Can’t imagine how different the village must have felt back then 😂. I live in the US but visit as much as I can. Nice video.
