I was searching for a video to discover Lecce as a French and I felt on your video. I just remembered so well the warmness of the Italians on your video. Now you are just my whole reference about Italian cities discovering. Lecce is a city with an architecture which is so original compared to what we have in the north of Italy and France, like the very clear rocks they used to build the city. And the baroque ornaments. I have to go there very soon. Grazie mille.

Beautiful Lecce! I can't get used to espressso on ice.yuck...But the Santa Chiara square is actually Piazetta Vittorio Emanuel ll where my apartment i rent is located high on the roof next to the Church..The Lecce stone is similar to Tufa stone..and the fabulous Amphiteatre is still used for concerts even though it looks like an unused ruin.

Yes, the Taglio was an absolute favourite of ours. We miss Lecce too, it was one of our favourites in Italy. We can fully understand that you preferred Natale, the difference is really very small. Yes, we think Lecce deserves a few days of discovery. The city gets really special at night, so you should stay at least one night. English is not very widely spoken, it is somewhat astonishing that so many people working in the tourism industry do not speak English. The young generation however is getting there.

Thank you for watching and for your comment. We actually found that this music was really interpreting the ambiance of the moment of that day in Lecce, but it is indeed very hard to find suitable music that pleases all and is licence free. @TheWayWeSawIt5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. We do not pretend to be anything else than tourists, so of course this is a point of view of a tourist. We believe that tourism can have a positive effect to a destinations economy and if more people come visit and spend their money in a destination, the inhabitants of the destination can profit from it. This of course requires that the local authorities have installed means so that all inhabitants, may they be locals or not, can benefit from it.
@TheWayWeSawIt5 жыл бұрын
