It's top guy coming from a win who is available fights champ, or sometimes just the guy who makes most sense (the fight has the most hype, easy to promote, new blood etc...). The only 2 fights that would've made sense are this or Gamrot. And nobody wants to watch Gamrot vs Islam over this.

I’ve been trying to tell everyone that arman wasn’t in trouble.. he was calm relaxed and did everything to keep him from being choked.. if he would’ve moved or panicked at all then he would’ve been in trouble. Considering it looked like Charles was limiting his aggressiveness on his feet as if he was fearful of the take down that is crazy! Try to get up for a minute! If you don't care about getting taken down, which is how Charles acted once he was taken down, then you should be extremely aggressive standing up!

Arnold Allen is probably the perfect embodiment of there are "levels to this shit." The dude was on a 10 fight win streak with some really good opponents in there until he finally reached the top and got Max and Movsar. The guy is a great fighter but when he got to the top three or four guys it showed that he was not ready for prime time just yet. There's always been these kind of guys in the UFC. Guys like Donald cerrone and Calvin kattar or Dan Hooker. Guys that look like the next champ until they fight the guys in the top five and then reality happens. People have always said that Justin has the wrestling background so that if he really wanted to use takedowns to help him win fights rather than constantly banging it out in 50/50 firefights then he would have won a few fights that he ended up losing . I'm wondering how true that actually is? Did Justin stop the wrestling for so long that his wrestling skills at that point or at this point in his career were nowhere near what they needed to be? Did he concentrate on striking so much that his wrestling wasn't good enough for him to use it to win fights?
