Fascinating. One of my first beading projects, following a tutorial, I made a seed beaded choker with this exact pattern (adapted for the project). They make wonderful bracelets with various bead sizes. Learning paracord, I have found a lot of overlap in all the different things I love to make. Thanks for the great tutorial.

I just made this. It turned out nicely. A couple of comments, I am not sure my metal beads genuinely had a 2mm internal hole as it was very difficult to thread the two strands of micro cord through them. If the beads were genuinely 2mm, then 3mm might be better. The other difficult part for me was moving the lanyard knot close to the final bead, I got there in the end but it was tricky in the small cord. However I am quite keen to make another but as a bracelet, just have to figure out the best way of making some way to close it as a bracelet. It was a fun project and pretty straight forward. Thanks for the tutorial.

I did one of those following yout tutorial but I used a silicon cord instead of a microcord and I really enjoy it. The Chetki got a bouncy feeling when mannipulating because of the estrechiness of the silicon cord that makes it very satisfying to use

That looks similar to right angle weave with two needles in bead-weaving. This might be a good use for some larger beads that I haven't found a use for in my usual jewelry-making. I'm always needing something to do with my hands, so something like this would be perfect.

Hi Weaver. I'm looking for a design using micro paracord that I can use to encircle a silver coin as a necklace. Any recommendations?

Hi, I can’ find a 10 mm Steele or titanium beads neither in your link, can you help me to find it ? Thank you
@TheWeaversofEternity
@TheWeaversofEternity 3 жыл бұрын
The 8mm beads in the link are actually better in my opinion. The 10 mm ones make the chetki a bit harder to play with. I couldn't find a link for 10 mm steel beads, but you can always check Amazon or eBay.

Where'd you get the titanium beads?
@TheWeaversofEternity
@TheWeaversofEternity 3 жыл бұрын
They actually came from Aroundsquare as a bracelet. Not the cheapest source of titanium beads, so I would suggest searching on eBay for affordable alternatives. But if you want to see the ones I used, I got them here: www.aroundsquare.com/collections/mkultras/products/mkultras-10mm-titanium-edition

0:34 , weeell you didn’t quite say the actual name right either, since «Чётки» is supposed to be pronounced as “chotki” in the first place, but the west often butchers the spelling of Russian words so I’m not surprised tbh.

I have a question. Why is some of my paracord hard and stiff but the rest is soft and flexible. The hard and stiff paracord is a pain to work with when making bracelets
@TheWeaversofEternity
@TheWeaversofEternity 3 жыл бұрын
The harder, stiffer paracord you have is most likely polyester paracord, while the softer kind is nylon.
