Tina Brown knows the British royals intimately. In this episode of Off the Shelf, she tells Mandira Nayar, THE WEEK's deputy chief of bureau, why she thinks this is a perilous time for the queen and the monarchy, how Camilla resembles the queen and why Harry was always “a bit of a ticking time bomb”.

The Pope did not die on the day of the second wedding. He died the week before and because the funeral was held on the original date of the wedding it was pushed back one day so Charles could represent the queen there.
