Skyrim - How to Level Up Destruction to 100 FAST (2021)

A complete guide on how to level up Destruction FAST in Skyrim. In today's video you'll learn exactly how to level up to 100 Destruction very quickly, and without using Shadowmere.
Destruction is one of the longest skills to level up in Skyrim and the most common video online of levelling up Destruction are the ones using Shadomwere. Why go through all that pain of casting spells over and over again on a horse (which takes longer), when you can level up much faster using training? I don't know either, and that's why I've made this guide.

Merry Christmas guys, hope you all had a good one! :) NEW method, and it's much, much faster! 🔥 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGaXg5-bbNVgrZY *FAQs (Click 'Read more')* 👇 Q: Eorlund's chest isn't there for me? 🧙‍♂ If you have the Unofficial Patch Mod installed, that will prevent Eorlund's chest from spawning in. Uninstalling the mod can leave some files behind in your saved game, which unfortunately still patch the chest. While uninstalling the mod may work for some, others will have to start a new game so that the files from the Unofficial Patch Mod are completely removed. Q: Eorlund's gold won't replenish after I wait 48hrs? 🧙‍♂ Please see 2:19 in the video, there I show you how to restock his gold. Q: If you're on PC, why not just use the console to instantly reach 100 Destruction? 🧙‍♂ Have you forgotten about our wizards on console??! 😨 This guide is meant for all players including those on console and old generation consoles who don't have access to mods. Q: Why not use The Serpent Stone to paralyse Faralda and to pickpocket the gold back off of her? 🧙‍♂ Great point, didn't think of it at the time! Since the most expensive training is 4500 gold, that's all you'll need from Eorland - drastically speeds up the process! Simply use the ability on her after paying and then pickpocket the full amount from her. After that, wait 24hrs so that The Serpent Stone power replenishes, and repeat the process. Just watch that you don't paralyse Faralda by the bridge... she may take a tumble! 😁 Q: If you complete the quest, 'Out of Balance' (elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Out_of_Balance), the 3 focal points you cleanse give you a chance to receive a crazy magic boosting buff for 2 real time hours. It increases your Magicka regeneration tremendously so that you don't have to use the wait function each time after casting Muffle? 🧙‍♂ Great tip! It's best to save your game before cleansing the focal points as there are 3 possible outcomes. If you receive a random empty soul gem or a minor harmful discharge, reload the save until you get the magic boosting buff. It will appear as 'Fortify Magicka' in the 'active effects' category. Q: With Faralda, you can just exit talking to her when she asks you about the spell you need to cast, and then talk to her again. It will then show the "Can you train me in destruction magic" Option? 🧙‍♂ A neat workaround! 👏 Q: Why not use a platter/plate to clip through the wall by Jorrvaskr, you'll get to Eorlund much faster? 🧙‍♂ This is true if you already have crockery in your inventory, but if you don't, you'll first have to go and fetch it. Entering and exiting Jorrvaskr (The Companions HQ) to obtain crockery takes time (especially on console with longer loading times). This also isn't ideal for those who don't know how to clip, and a lot of time can be wasted with failed attempts. To conclude, you can use any way you see fit to reach Eorlund, but for the sake of ease and simplicity for all players, falling through the underworld is showcased 🔥 Q: I've read the books, but they're not giving me any skill points? 🧙‍♂ Unfortunately, if you've already read the skill books, they cannot be re-read to receive more skill points. There will be multiple of copies of the same skill book throughout your game, but a skill point received from a particular skill book can only ever be acquired upon reading it for the first time. A few mods can also cause no skill points to be achieved ('Realistic Needs & Diseases', 'Skyrim Skill Uncapper', 'Ace Combat Skills', 'Balance Your Own Game' to name a few). In general, any mod that alters the way in which you receive XP, can cause no skill points to be received from skill books. Q: I've already received the skill points from skill books previously, how can I get from level 90 to 100 Destruction? 🧙‍♂ If you've already read the books, no problem! What you can do is ensure that you use Destruction magic as often as you can when in combat. Visiting Dragon lairs/bandit camps/Nordic tombs and lighting them up will soon get you there! 🔥 It's also worth noting that the rune spells level up your Destruction quickly (if triggered by an enemy). You can also exploit Destruction levelling by casting the spells on essential targets that will not turn hostile. Some of these targets include Shadowmere, Hadvar or Ralof during Unbound, the Riekling Chief during The Chief of Thirsk HallDB, Esbern before A Cornered Rat, Paarthurnax before starting his quest, M'aiq the Liar, Ancano before the conclusion of Revealing the Unseen, conjured creatures, and torture victims in Dawnstar Sanctuary.

if you feel like dabbling in alchamy , gather a ton of salmon roe and either chicken eggs, hiscarp fish, or nordic barnacles and garlic (only need 20 of your three ingredients of choice to max alchemy} go to your favorite merchant, preferably an alchemest or a general goods dealer who likes you, sell them your snake oil, save after you gnab their gold, agro them, then load that save again, and repeat until you got the gold you need. There are more legit ways. You can have 20k 10 mins into the game buy just making and selling water breathing potions with ingredients you can gather on your first trip to whiterun. Find any white water that you see fish jumping out of, blast them with flame spell you start with and gather the salmon roe try to get like 10 then head to whiterun. Just outside dragons reach in the pool of water are a bunch of Nordic barnacles. Use these and the salmon roe to craft potions worth 4k gold each and each one will give you more than a level of alchemy. Takes like 10 15 mins and you can have 10+ of these potions worth 4k

Pro-tip: Get serpent stone (it allows you to paralyze a target once every 24 hours), after you get trained by Faralda, paralyze her using the stone's ability and then pickpocked her (you will most likely have to mash the E button multiple times as it can get glitchy), you can then get all your money back and she can't catch you because she's paralyzed. Then just wait 24 hours and repeat.

Pro tip. to avoid having to wait 48 hours for the stock to replenish, grab ya gold, quicksave, use a shout to hit jorland, load quick save once he's aggro, talk to him, back out, go to chest. Rinse and repeat. So much faster this way.

Or ice storm works well too but not quite efficient if you're not one for investing in magica. It seems that aiming near around his legs/feet while he's on the grindstone is the key.

You can actually do this better... Do the quest for the illusion guy to cleanse the focal points. Each of the 3 points gives you a chance to receive a buff that regens your magika like crazy for 2 real time hours. Don't turn the quest in though. Once you have the buff, then you can just spam muffle all you want without having to use the wait function.

If you have the creation that adds the spell pack (cant remember the exact name) the unbound freeze spell has a glitch that causes it to not deal damage. Combine this with fortify destruction to get 100% spell reduction. After that is done just find an enemy and use the spells until you get the glitch to work (its random but it triggers very often) and just level that way

runes are nucking futs honestly... they do a shit-ton of damage for their mana cost. plus with the illusion perk that silences spells, and you have a killer stealth wizard build. maybe grab the special dawnguard hammer, plus the poison rune and you'll have almost a rune for every occasion.

hey for the Skyforge chest part: you can simply use a platter from dragonsreach on a somewhat flat section near the door to the underforge to clip through straight to the chest

@@2004FordRangerXLT my personal problem with that is finding the Khajiit lady because she's part of a caravan. My other problem with that one is having to run back and forth to reset the chest. You end up waiting much longer than 48 hours because she isn't always in Dawnstar and you have to wait more in 12 hour increments to get her to spawn back. With this one you can practically just sit there collecting coins to your hearts content. You can also save down there, I've done it many times with no problem.

You can actually hit eorlund with the flames spell if you stand in the right spot so you can qicksave and hit him with flames then reload the save. This will save you a lot of time.

Ok so if you have the well rested bonus and the mage stone when you buy skill training it will make your destruction almost be to the next level because the game doesn’t allow skill trainers to give more than 5 levels so you could just shoot your horse after skill training to save money on skill training

Depending on how high level your pickpocket and your illusion is you can pick her pocket to get your gold back also if you have 90-100 illusion you can spam Harmony for quick leveling (But also depends on how far you progressed in your game for the fastest method) Harmony works good for me cause I've done most of the magic skills and have already done the master illusion quest makes it easy if your high leveled but great work on the video! Can confirm this is technically the fastest method for getting destruction

There is also a trick that u can do u can beat up Ralof or Hadvar in the part where sneak at the bear by leveling up your sneak And don’t level up just use it at the destruction leveling up.also great video

You can avoid having to carry that much gold with the serpent stone and healing hands so Feralda doesn’t agro with pickpocket so as long as you have enough to be trained 5 consecutive times you should be all right

You'll still need ~26.000 Gold for 85-90 or "just" 4.500 Gold if you do the pickpocket after each individual training rather then after 5.

Just wanted to point out, if you wanted to avoid having to sleep as often training the muffle spell go find the illusion trainer and help him with the magical focal points. It boosts your magic regen by a lot and you can almost cast it non-stop.

There is a much easier way to get underneath the sky forge. There is a wall on the outside of the companions hall. If you push a platter against it, you will phase through.

That's my method. The Gate Barrel Jump just got too hard for me to do. One of my buddy's gets there by climbing up onto the tip top of Jorrvasker and Whirlwind Sprinting over the wall.

@@dr.fiction7 If you already have whirlwind sprint, you can use it with the platter to drastically increase your chance of clipping through walls. e.g. The Combo of "Platter/Bowl/etc. against Wall" & WWS-Shout gets you through most of the "Hidden" Exit Doors at the end of Dungeons as well so you can skip a Dungeon like Ustengrav by just WWS through the exit and grab the note and loot.

Also if you have a high enough pickpocketing skill you can pickpocket the gold from Faralda after you pay her. But make sure you pickpocket it before the sun of gold she has is too large otherwise it’s impossible to pickpocketbit from her as the possibility becomes a 0%

If you have access to a paralysis staff or paralysis potions then you can pickpocket her regardless, though they are hard to come by or require specific pickpocket skills.

@@IvanIvan-hw8jo Its when you place an item in someone when pickpocketing. A perk from the skill tree allows you to place poison and affect them. So essentially: 1) Place paralysis poison to Feralda -> gets paralysis 2) Pick pocket gold and repeat process Problem with this method is that even if you get the right perk it may still not work if the chance is low due to value of the poison. The perk itself can be pretty fun though.

always found it a bit mad that its so difficult to level destruction compared to every other skill, my current character has 100 in all magic skills including echanting, legendary'd illusion a few times too, but my destruction is still about level 60

The method I've developed is less complicated and faster, First aquire the aetherium crown, then put the ritual stone in the crown, 2nd, go to movarth's lair and clear it out, then find the corpse hole and drag every enemy from the dungeon into it. 3rd, use the ritual stone power to redirect everything in the hole, set your difficulty to novice and blast them with a fire rune. Remove the crown and put it back on to reset the power, repeat until 100.

Would be a tough feat retrieving the Aetherial Crown straight out of Helgen, but certainly doable for the later levels, good tips 👍
