Try to imagine that you need to recalibrate and track the robot with each new model. The path of moving arms makes the 3 axile movement few cm from the fragile objects. That’s crazy!

I have a C300 I bought it in 2010 brand new it has 190,000 Km on it and have not even replaced the brake pads yet it is an amazing car the only parts I replaced were fuel pump and wiper blades

@@jonathandoelander6130 the gap size these people are checking have various causes. The doors for example are fitted in "by hand" after separate assembly. Even the roof wich is placed by robots is checked and there will be adjustments in the robot control if it don’t fit perfectly. I think Tesla has the same assessment like you and this ist why their gap size is so bad

@@jonathandoelander6130 the checking in this sequence of the video is the end of line check. Ist the final check of all components of the car. The gap sizes, the paint quality, ist really everting assembled, are scratches in the interior, does everything work like it should. Bevor that was a leak test and a test bench for the engine, suspension und all driving assists. All that is a very complex and different procedure for each car. This will, if it’s should be done correctly, not be done by a robot in near future. The work done by robots ist always monitored by them, but if there is a failure, it’s cheaper du do it by hand than have a specific robot to do so. On this assembly line are 4-5 different model series, with hundreds of possible choices of interior, what makes it to complex to assemble by robot.

Sementara W202 2.4L kami, sdh pernah total engine over houl pada 98.000KM... Elektrikal di generasi 203 dan seterusnya sangan rentan.. begitu juga dengan komponen interior ... plastik banget, mudah getas dan pecah

Cars made in south Africa dont get this much attention to the Mercedes Benz built there. Benz built outside of Germany are subject to lower QC.. My 2010 C300 had a loose bolt on the front of the engine and. I lost 2 qts opf oil because the bolts wasn't inspected properly. My Benz was built in south Africa.
