Connor's dunk was technically the most difficult because the timing had to be perfect but he just tapped the ball thru the rim. It would have been an all-timer if he smashed the ball thru. Real time, the dunk was insane. The slo-mo took some oomph away from it which should never happen when watching a dunk in slo-mo, imo.

They penalised him for not making the dunk first try on the previous round vs kilganon and now they penalised him for not doing a “new” dunk even though it was an extremely difficult 360 behind the back made on the first attempt. Amazing amazing amazing job for the dunkers! Penalizing for misses and then not doing so for this round is either transparent bias or just lack of structure to the show. The dunkers each episode have looked very noticeable upset and shocked with the outcomes for OTHER participants. It’s understood that Connors dunk was “going in” or atleast hitting the rim. But if you’re going to penalize that. At least tell him that and he could try again since misses did not matter. Tyler Currie is a MONSTER. Massive respect and appreciations for his dunks. This has nothing to do with Tyler and everything to do with the rules/standards they’ve been basing the content off of. Obviously a windmill wouldn’t be better than Tyler’s dunk, but Connors and isaiahs dunks in particular, they should have progressed here. I feel bad for Isaiah. 2 back to back rounds being scored differently ultimately losing them because of it. Atleast D.U.N.K is a round decided by the dunkers performance vs being judged. That will be interesting. Final note* the season has had some of the nastiest dunks/performances to date. Great job dunkers!

I love Dunk League's concept of having dunkers compete in like 10 different dunking challenges theoretically minimizes the variance of the results (i.e. throughout the course of more and more challenges, the better dunkers should rise to the top, just like how the NBA Finals are played over the course of 7 games and not just one quarter of one game). It also provides an opportunity for everyone to showcase different skills, athleticism, and creativity that a standard dunk contest could not possibly completely capture. However, I feel that this season's format was significantly worse than the previous seasons. 1) Having a one dunk redemption round for all those eliminated (no matter how poorly or well they did in the previous challenges) is just a crapshoot. It's like having the NBA Conference Finals decided by who can score 10 points first. Even if you want to make it a one-dunk high variance coin flip for more "excitement", you can at least advantage those that placed higher (like how in the NBA you get home court advantage). 2) Why eliminate dunkers before the last 1-2 rounds? The whole point of Dunk League is to see who is the most "complete package" in terms of dunking, let them accrue points. The last 1-2 rounds can be the finals between the top 2, top 3, or top 4.

After Jordan stayed over him in the last episode he comes to the comment section looking for sympathy cause he got “screwed” because his dunk was harder but it took him 4 attempts which brings the hype down. Then this episode he cries about the judging in the comment section which I agree it should have been Barth not Currie but he’s just complaining. That’s just my opinion. You can have yours and it doesn’t change my stance

Thank you so much for choosing Tyler curry! that was the right choice, yes connor barth was original but a dunk has to have power and get you banging sealing when you jump from amazement. Tyler curry is another level than all these cats, he is actually a real cat, flips in the air and lands after catching the bird. Thank you Judges, if anyone else was chosen this show should go to live audiance ratings, but these judges are pros. Good impressing the judge rivera by a judges dunk and making it first attempt, now Rivera is seriously robbed from last show not this show, yikes as he couldve done the special fx dunk last show and left that backboard for this show. They are all amazing talent, not even NBA players can dream of doing any of their dunks on that level.

I dont think that connor should have won it because it was just too weak of a finish, I have seen layups go through the rim faster then that. But Isiah should have won it, first attempt dunk that was only slightly less impressive then curries and with power. But it was a difficult one
