And also congrats to jclark, he should always win dunk with his versatility. Salute. I predicted he would win this round with ease. Very good idea (thou standard is prty low with this redemption round we had). I mean there should be something more for best dunker in redemption than just order selection. It was obvious all along who were 3 best dunkers in the tourney, and well one of them had to go to redemption round, and what if CJ would win than we value 1 good dunking session over 5 that Isaiah had? (I am not sain CJ is bad but well he was not tested) Current version would allow a guy to do nothing entire time and than just do 1 amazing dunk and buuum you are in semis. Also that shown here, while much respect to T Curry for getting here ... but with no offence to him he just got smacked, yes maybe they targeted him with their dunks, but his dunks did not even make other guys flinch (maybe kick one but honestly if he would win by that I think everyone would be super displeased)

This has to be the worst season of Dunk League. Outside of the dunks we've seen, everything else from the inconsistent judging to the weird format of the competition. First they should've allow more than one dunker come back from the Redemption round, also they should have D.U.N.K has a competition in the finals because no dunker under 6ft is gonna win. Plus it doesn't give enough opportunity for each dunker to display their versatility, plus Kilgagnon and Currie should've had a dunk off because the reward for the winner of the challenge shouldn't be just the money, but also the ability to avoid a dunk off. The judging has been the worst this year than ever because of the inconsistencies. Isaiah Austin flushef arguably the best and the most difficult dunk in the whole competition but was sent to the redemption round because he had multiple attempts, but they let Currie win after he had multiple attempts on his dunk. Whet the judges is inconsistent it gets into dunkers head and it makes them not want to perform their best stuff. I've watched every season of Dunk League and outside of the dunks we've witnessed in this season, this season is the worst.

I think next season the judges need to explain what they are deducting and giving points for because they didn’t explain the redemption round that they weren’t gonna take attempts into account but the ones before they were taking attempts into account for final score
@ChrisStaplesDunker3 жыл бұрын
Tyler got robbed on the kick dunk. Just saying. He made it first try. Jclarks triple jump dunk is a different sport too but I didn’t Hear anybody complaining only because it was doable for them. Stop making excuses and dunk
@juicebox80843 жыл бұрын
exactly jordan had so many tries to kick it. then tyler just did the wrong dunk but made it for his last one, shouldn't he get another try as well

I think Isaiah is on to something with trying to get judging criteria and difficulty ratings for dunks and parts of dunks. I think some kind of organization should try and work with the dunking community and get as many of the best dunkers involved in discussion and bring a pundit in gymnastic's or an X-games sport's scoring to help advise. This could be huge, a governing body to be source of reference.
