We wonder the same thing. While Andrew goes about biz and talking to us viewers, Charlie's usually pacing around, wagging sometimes and looking for the person his dad's talkin to. We love to see Charlie get attention too. What a good dog!

Very good! Appreciate the lessons, like burying the fresh trapped lynx in the snow to keep it from freezing. Bummer about Mr.Weasel. His pelt will be a nice souvenir for your trappin shed. Skinning/stretching weasel might be another good video.

Andrew this is one of your best vids, when you give some insight to how and where to set traps and about lining up your pelts on the boards. I am very interested in how you do things. thanks for the vids and wish you the best this season.

Thanks very much for sharing! Maybe you've heard of this before, but for dispatch of a live cat you might try either a snare or a wire noose. This year I started using 16 gauge wire noose on a stick. Got interesting when a cat turned around on me today though! He was caught in a #1 jump set for marten by a back toe, walked up to him with my dispatch stick and he did a full 180 to the end of the chain in my direction! Glad the li'l trap held! Be safe out there!

* How many traps do you have set all at one time as a general rule? * Do you ever forget where you have set them or do you mark them on a map or something? * Do you have to be licensed to be a trapper on that native land? * Do you sell furs as and when you have prepared them or all together at end of season? Very interesting videos giving good insight into the trapping world,- thanks fella.

Been very busy, really needed to catch up on your last three videos. WOW to the three wolverines !! Glad your health is hearty for all the cold you are in. Noticed when you set traps you do not take Charlie.. I think that is smart just in-case Charlie gets to noisy he could easily get hurt. Over cast days are still beautiful up there. Be safe....

Thanks for answering my questions. . Its funny - here in the UK we would call your 'weasel' by a different name - as a 'Stoat' which is then called an 'Ermine' when it has its winter coat of white. A weasel here is a much smaller animal ,being only bout double size of a mouse. Just saying, case you were interested

Even the snipped claws would sell to us "armchair trappers" on the internet and that might help make up for that soon to be dead weasel damage. You put a few claws on a string for a few bucks. Or as a giveaway for a video response as to why we enjoy your videos. Keep up the god work lad.
