Hey Andrew. Your videos are totally fascinating and interesting. When I was a kid, I used to stay up late at night reading adventure stories about guys like you in the North. Now I can watch them, thanks to you! I've caught a few northerns and walleyes in Ontario with my buddy Herb who had a cabin on Crown Land. Took half a day to get to it by boat. I still have a picture of myself hauling a 4 pound smallmouth bass out of a narrows between a couple lakes one day. I had a jig with a strip of split-tail pork rind on it, and that bass hit it like a ton of bricks after I pulled it over a sunken log. What a thrill. And I never saw anybody split a log by turning the ax upside down and banging it on the backside on a stump. What a great idea. I'm gonna be trying that myself tomorrow. I just got a bunch of almond wood today. And finally, most of the rich guys in the world will never taste as delicious a meal as you've prepared there, no matter how much money they spend. You have something that money can't buy, and rich guys can not even imagine. All the best.

Yup nothing like good food from the wild. Andrews do you get big pikes sometimes. They seems like a good eating fish. US in new brunswick we got a lot of trout and especially sea striped bass and mackerels. Good eating fish can't wait for fall hunting season moose and deer I didn't get a moose tag but my step son can go anytime he wants .he's native that's good. Super good vedio love it, take care and catch you on the next video.

A boy and his people! A fine day indeed. Fresh fish, fresh/ripe berries, and hot bannock! Gotta love it. We'll have to agree to disagree on coffee from a can. I can taste the tin from coffee from a metal can. Love a good cowboy coffee though. A meal for kings right there. Great seeing Rudy feasting away on those berries too. That's a good boy, that one!! And he WAS throwing a lustful eye on your bag of berries.

I like me some Hills Bros coffee occasionally. With the bumper crop of berries, you should harvest a ton of them and dehydrate for use during the winter/trapping season. Good source of vitamin C.

MMMMMM Saskatoon berries, I make a killer saskatoon berry pie. I miss gathering them, Im actually gonna plant some so that I can get them. Nice looking pike, decent size. All Ive caught lately is carp, one has been cooked, the other one is in my 10,000 gallon pool with a few bass and my goldfish for ones that are used in my water trough for my horses and goats. Hope you have a great day.

I grew up eating raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries (all wild) as well as the ones that grew in my grandma's raspberry patch. If you've missed out on them, you've missed out on a lot of flavors. Throw in a freshly-caught pike, and you're in heaven. I'm not a coffee drinker, though, so I'll take your word on that subject. Groot is such a character! In a normal year, I'd be in Ontario right now, but we all know this isn't a normal year. Vacation had to be a fall-back plan this time, oh well. You two are living like kings.
