It was magical! And so much fun after the shows at the bars where all musicians and singers were passing by, hugging, having drinks etc. Maggie got the whole street to sing.. Marcel told us that the singers had only one general repetition together, but Britney had just arrived on Wednesday with her family. Because of jetlag she went in without any rehearsal! She nailed it! ❤

@@thewindmillfullovcorpses we were in town all weekend but had tickets for sunday night. Marcel and his wife sat down with us, it was so lovely to hear how everything went by, how the band rehearsed and so on. The street with all terrasses and bars were just around the corner of 013… one big party the whole weekend, everyone from fans, all people working their butts off and the musicians were so incredibly nice and exhilarated. But for sure you either hugged or took a picture with Damian Wilson, he had a personal moment with all 15.000 fans.. hero!

If you have a hard time finding more stuff like classic prog rock and Ayreon, I would recommend you check out Magoria. It's also a Dutch rock opera project. Their debut album "JTR 1888" blew my mind! /Andrei

I was there on Friday seeing Damian Wilson's small gig in the 013, then ran to the camping site to see Marcela Bovio (and I cried large tears when hearing her sing and telling about her difficult time), then ran to the cinema to see the Ayreon concert Electric Castle on the big screen. Talked and made phones with lots of Ayreon artists and came back on Sunday for the concert. Still recovering and addicted!

I've never heard of this band, and at first I was so confused. Like, how many singers do you have?? Just people popping out of the void randomly to sing a bit? I'm so glad you explained it. It makes sense now. And by the way, I watch all of your videos even if I don't know or like the band you're reacting to. I'm trying to be open to new things! I would like to see you do some Paleface Swiss, though. Or more Infant Annihilator!!

Ayreon is not a band but a collaboration of several musicians and singers (100+) brought together by Dutch composer and multi-instrumentalist Arjen Anthony Lucassen, who plays guitar, bass guitar and keyboards, among other things. #themeaningoflifeistogivelifemeaning 🤘

Attending a show like this I would probably faint way before the end. If not, Anneke going forward to sing her part could take my soul out of the body. And then I would be ashamed even to play a ring bell 😅. Marcel Coenen is pure happiness, them all are great. I bet even the wood of that stage squeaks perfectly.

I'm completely not envious of you two being at the show All jokes aside I assume you already know Ayreon Universe and Electic Castle live, otherwise you have work to do 😀 Oh and interesting take with Damian Wilson replacing Jorn Lande not being a good decision, I'll have to watch the whole thing and make my own mind but it seemed kinda obvious it would be that way

In my humble opinion, John Jaycee Cuijpers would have been the best match. At least they let him have the "Stop the machines! Prepare to die!" They shared the part of Jorn Lande. For me, Comatose sang by Damian was a disappointment
