I always thought Zach wasn’t thrilled demar came over cause it instantly became demars team even tho Zach went thru bs those first few years. Demar is the better player and leader but it finally got Zach to the playoffs so Zach was okay being 2nd option. However the second season was a dumpster fire, Zach got benched so from there relationship fractured and Zach went full iso ball since demar can do it why can’t he? Which lead to losses and frustration. You only need one iso player and while Zach is younger he has bad IQ. Demar is cool but he’s never been the guy. Respect his game but everyone should’ve been traded 2 seasons ago. This team is cooked.

One of the best things that could happen aside from Zach being traded immediately without much loss in return. Is if Lavine Humbles himself and the team convinces him to come off the bench in order to raise his trade value and protect him from overusing his body and risking injury. Just like what they’re likely to do with Lonzo this season. Zach has literally Zero Leverage anywhere. The Bulls don’t care about him aside from being an asset to trade at this point and no team wants him without the bulls paying them handsomely first. It’ll more than likely not happen due to Zach’s ego and Billy just preferring to play Vets. But it would be the best COA.
