It’s truly fascinating to learn about the personal side of Ratan Tata, especially his relationships with an American, a Gujarati, and a Parsi. The way this interview/book explores how some of these relationships evolved and others ended-sometimes with heartbreak due to distance, or as beautifully put, by “walking away peacefully”-adds so much depth to his story. These insights really humanize a legend like Ratan Tata. In a world where we mostly hear about his work ethics and extraordinary generosity, it’s easy to forget we’re talking about a man with emotions and personal struggles. Kudos to Dr. Mathew for bringing these stories to life and making Ratan Tata feel more relatable.

It's unfortunate that a good, kind and generous man like Mr. Tata had to spend his life all alone. But then this could also be the reason he could afford to singularly focus on building the Tata Group and take it to the great heights he did. And in the bargain he got the love, respect and admiration of an entire nation.

Ratan tata was so precious that he never found his true match who would be as precious as him. Anyways, his life was very interesting and thrilling on the professional front. I m sure he must have died peacefully after changing the lives of thousands of people, who he benefited through his charities. A life definitely well-lived.

Dear Karan, what a great guest. He was extremely courteous and polite. However if I may say so, I felt you were extremely impatient and also abrupt. Matthew was exact, thorough and precise. However above all extremely polite. Please be polite. You weren’t engaging with a corrupt political who needs a grilling!

Why is this so important? His personal life is his alone. His public life is the only thing thst should be your business. This comes across as being nosy. Let him be. By the way, it's hard to believe as this man says that it was only in 2007 that Carolyn looked up Ratan online and discovered that he had become famous. Humbug. Considering he would speak to her on his visits to the US, she would have had to know what he had become. Even when he was dating her she would have known that he was a Tata scion, particularly because of the links her father's firm as well as Kaiser and many other American firms had with the Tatas. The entire conversation has the tone and character of breathless gossip.

Dr Thomas Mathew IAS is such a brilliant man. Some of the most progressive Projects in Kerala were his Vision, as i know. He dreamed them, envisioned them, got them approved politically and made them incredible realities... Other Admins later walked away with the credit! As for the Mallus, they weaved stories against him and drove him away, as I understand. As I understand. Kerala thus lost the further wonders of development that this visionary could have brought to God’s Own Country ! As I understand.

Amazing video, info. Tell me more about simone tata, step mother of ratan tata, and how she may have influenced him not to marry on the several occasions he was almost getting married, she could have been the influence against it, and deeper facts and info relating to it ??????? = global Deep State, and its agents, are deeply involved in India, through "managing" its leaders and their lives etc, in favoring a pro-western future vision, although 1947 is said to have brought independence which was more like self-rule in continuation of the colonially and historically inherited spirit of anti-indian-civilization. It is now kind of obvious that Shree Ratan Tata understood, at least in recent decades, how all this power and influence was being played, and he had decided to make his best contributions to Indian society, also world society, to India and the world, in continuation of the continuing heritage and history of the Tatas, of Indian Parsis. Jai Indian Parsis. Best Wishes, Aummm...

I think Karan you should have given more time to your guest. The last bit left the interview in bad taste. Clearly, Mr. Mathew had much to say, and rightly so since he was talking about a legend. The details that Mr. Mathew shares about Mr. Tata should make it ample clear about his close interaction with him, which would have not been possible if Mr. Tata had not endorsed the book. You cant whip up hundreds of pages of someone's person life, specially of someone who kept their lives away from the public for all these years, without having them share those stories with you. My two cents. Enjoyed reading the book and hearing the stories from Mr. Mathew.

The promoters advise their employees to avoid gossip "don't worry about things of which you aren't in control". I used to joke since these promoters pick up their lovers, relationships in five-star hotels, among late night partying drunkards - naturally they aren't in control of family relationships, which they switch as they dance. Then, why gossip on that?
