You correctly said many IAS think or others think that all of them are 10-headed Ravana's and 20-handed to keep hands in 20 committees. experienced officials agree with me that they are good organizers but poor knowledge but boast that they know everything in fact they do not know anything but steal facts and knowledge from one officer's specialist and pass it on to another committee as if they know it but in fact, all of their ideas are borrowed. They work with authorities but with no real knowledge in anything. Putting them in many and various committees only makes them feel proud and they can not do justice to any one committee. so hereafter one officer should have one portfolio only so that they can think make ideas rather than symbolically chairing and taking a salary. we should change at least now after 75 years of independence to become independent of IAS. They were appointed because there was no specialist and now many experts are available so the IAS should be phased out slowly as they are part of political corruption and not doing their constitutional duties in spite of the constitutional post they occupy. Most of them are greedy for money and power. They should leave specialist departments only to be administrative. All heads of the department post to be given to concerned department specialists who are working in their department for many years. If anybody is not fit to be head of the department they should resign and go home.

The most astonishing part of this interaction was about how the so-called "Hindi-belt" states like UP, Bihar, MP etc. have lost their own languages and dialects just because many of those were a subset of Hindi...It is nice to see Mr. Thiagarajan being sensitive about those lost languages as well while rightly defending their stand on why they oppose imposition of a "Three-language policy" or Hindi imposition on Tamils...It puts a mirror on the Hindi speaking states that this is how we can make language diversity a matter of pride for the nation...

@@indianfrontline we do have people in the "North" who understand this emotion...we understand that nobody is there in TN (except for probably a rare group of people which are omnipresent) who hate Hindi or anything...the hatred is against the imposition of Hindi rather than Hindi itself...it is already evident through our conversation that if thoughts are similar or if people really want to communicate with each other, then language is not that big a problem...but my friend, I really believe that this issue is not among the common people, it is the politicians who haven't been able to achieve anything for their people, and yet they want the common people to have an opinion about something that such politicians crave for...At the same time, the common man also feels proud to have an opinion about something they feel seems to be related to "National Interest" and since they don't have any distinct opinion about it, they tend to take the stance as their own leaders...
