I love how the discourse has started to veer towards the growth story. This absolutely shows why a contrariant media ecosystem needs to exist. Hammering away at the nitty gritties and lacunae that pepper the economy, if the government is one that has its ear to the ground, this is where they pick up the voices that advise and amplify on people's voices and aspirations. This means a good job done by the channel and need to keep going and do more.

It’s a strange dichotomy - GST collections rising consistently indicates a growth in manufacturing / services and sales thereof. On the other side there is spectre of unemployment. The job less growth is a reality. Not being a Luddite, the digitalisation has had an impact on many jobs. Growth of these so called unicorn shows we are merely adding delivery boys and drivers to economy. Manufacturing sector will increasingly be automated rescuing even further the job potentials.

Youth should, when they're buying a ₹1lakh I Phone, should invest the same amount in a small business that employs 5 people. And, mostly, pick up rural and B towns for these. Just read about a startup in Bihar, RödBez, a miniUber. If outsiders not keen on starting businesses there, they dig into themselves. They have progressive leaders they can bank on. Same goes for all states. I think the state govts if UP, Bihar and Rajasthan should be pushed to act on their people and get these business -tech, industry ventures, small or big going. Shotgun these areas with ideas and we will see sprouts that shall solidy inti clusters and growing.
