Bhai good and bad people in every religion. Yes its a part of Sikh belief to feed the hungry and we see they even went to Syria to feed people. Being a Muslim , Islam emphasizes big importance of feeding hungry and giving charity to poor people, infact 2.5% Zakat is compulsory to give to needy from one's savings. The analogy and terms of Hinduism specially Vedanta are used to explain concept of god in Sikhsim. Anaahad Naad, Amrit Vela, Tri-loka, Tri-Guna, Satguru, Omkaar, Ram these are some of the few terms that finds repeated mention in Sikh scriptures and there are many. Without developing the understanding of Hinduism and the basic concepts of Vedanta at least Sikhism in it’s true spirit can never be understood

@ when Gurus started langur seva, the community (all religious people who so ever believed in peace) contributed as per their capacity. When community needed protection, needed voice and soul too protect them, Gurus from 5th Guru were Martyrs , giving away self for the humanity. Guru Arjan Dev Ji Guru Hargobind Ji Guru Har Rai Ji Guru Harkrishan Ji Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Guru Gobind Singh Ji So at least in Sikh community this "I wonder from where they are getting Money" does not fit in. This is all done by community member itself with a sense of seva bhav towards - Guru ki Sangat. With the Gurus order the langar seva should never be stopped. It is a very basic element in Sikhism.
