Tea leaves always reminds me of that "I see a giraffe" scene from Coraline. 😆 This video reminded me for some reason how much I loved those Tipsy Tarot videos you had in the past.

I was at the home of a Greek friend. Her mother who spoke no English was visiting from Greece. We were sitting at the kitchen table drinking Greek coffee. (Yum). The second I finished my coffee, her mom grabbed my cup and started to read the grounds. She went on for about 10 minutes in Greek. I looked to my friend for an interpretation. All that conversation and all Doris would say is, “It’s all good “. WTH, she may have found the secrets to life in that coffee cup. I’ll never know. Suffice to say, when I say it’s Greek to me, I truly mean I don’t have a clue. 😂🤣😂

Sarah, that’s so cool that your family taught you. My grandmother helped me know that the things I could see and do weren’t common so I should keep my own countenance. Even at 5, I knew what she meant. Family can be a source of great understanding,…and laughter.

@@susandunaway8290 Thanks! I am 1000% with you there, family is what we start with when we are born and what we end with when it's our time. They are truly there for us during the worst and best of times. I'm so happy for the amazing connection you shared with your grandmother. She knew how special you are!!

You inspired me trying this out! One thing I've read about giraffes is that they eat from poisonous trees. The tree itself releases a poisonous substance every time a leaf is taken from it. However, giraffes are so quick to rip that off that they rip off the leaf before the toxin can be released, so they don't actually eat poisoned leaves, I hope it makes sense, in my native language it does. What it could mean in the tea reading is:" Thanks to your capability you managed to rip something off before it could become actually dangerous. It could've been, but you did it just in time". Also, to me birds speaks about messages from spirits, so i think that now she is sorrounded by protective spirits, ancestor and others

Just wanna say your content is like a comfort watch for me, and when I need inspo in life and spirituality I always come back to you. I love your witchy content but also love seeing your regular life because it makes a spiritual practice feel so much more attainable! Keep doing what you're doing!

Where I'm from, we read coffee. You need turkish coffee for it, though. You drink the coffee, leave a bit of the liquid inside, then swirl, to loosen the settled coffee. Then you flip it along with a saucer. Wait about 10 minutes, turn it three times clockwise, and uncover. The base is the house, the side closest to you from the handle is your past, opposite is the future. It's fun and something all young adults do because... drama and love and mystic. Until you happen across a real old wise woman from a wee village up in the mountains, and she tells you things that chill you to the bone. True story. 😁 She also insisted she wasn't a witch. Ehm... right. 😏 Also, extra love to Olivia for the icelandic beanie with that delightful rune. 🖤 *a small beam of adopted country pride*

Oh my gosh! I totally needed to see this! I’ve been searching for someone online to teach me further on reading tea leaves but I kept running into dead ends because either the person was not available or they live in another country and only do in-person classes. I then thought, “You know what? I’ll leave it up to Spirit.” And then boom! This video showed up on my feed and I cannot be more grateful! Even though this was your crash course, you’ve definitely gave me so many new ideas about tassography that I never even thought about! 🤯 Thank you Olivia and Annie and Thank you Spirit! 🖤🖤🖤

I think I've dabbled in tasseomancy once. Had a few friends with teacups and we each were looking into the tea leaves at the bottom. I had to draw out the images I saw at the bottom of the tea cup from the leaves. I think back then I saw the shape of 3 women and I drew them out on a folded piece of paper in blue ink. o.o

I'm a baby in tasseography but thanks to you guys I've started to do it more regularly. It helps me clear my mind, organize my thoughts, focus my intentions, make sense of my worries, and opens my mind and perspective to new ideas and interpretations. It's enjoyable to work out what things could mean. I really enjoy it, and as a tea lover it's such an interesting activity. Thanks so much!

The first tea leaf reading I ever did, basically all the leaves went onto the plate, but I didn’t know back then that the plate had any meaning and I was so disappointed in my reading at the time so I haven’t done one since. However since the reading, I ended my relationship with my ex, so I feel like now would be a good time to do a reading again.

giraffe: for me I think of non-violente communication; the giraffe was chosen to represent authentic and kind communication to yourself or others as the giraffe has a huge heart to weight ratio in the animal kingdom so that it can pump the blood to it's head. But that's just what it evoques to me! Thanks for this video.

I tried this along with this video. I had to do it twice, first time nothing came out on the plate and it was a big clumpy mess I could not see anything for. The second time everything came out in one big clump of a ball. I learned two things. One that tea I used was way to bitter and nasty so I had to use sweetener, and two a whole table spoon of tea was way to much for this tiny cup I have.

@The Witch Of Wonderlust Olivia, I could use some help. I casted a negativity ward spell for a relationship using The Green Witch's Negativity Ward video. I added a few more ingredients, sugar, salt, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, cinnamon and lavendar oil. I only had a ziploc bag so I made my ward in that and tied it up with twine. Now because I wanted to protect my relationship I carefully cut out two squares and wrote my first and last name as well as my partner's in black ink. The intent was purely to restore, banishing any toxicity and protect from outside forces that way my partner and I could explore if we're better as friends or lovers without being influenced. Days later, I got my answer and feel as if the ward worked. I want to return the ingredients back to the earth but I'm not sure what to do with our names. I feel weird burying our names in the dirt and I feel weird burning then. I can't seem seem find anything online.. Please respond, thank you.❤❤❤

In case Olivia doesn't or can't respond, my two cents is that whatever doesn't feel weird, do that. The two methods you've mentioned for disposal are the most common, but you can also choose to keep the papers if you want to - it's your spell and you can definitely do what feels right. Sometimes I've just thrown stuff in the compost or recycling rather than burying or nothing because it's what I was called to do, fwiw.

Helloooo I noticed the bundle on the table there but I wanted to know if you have any recommendations for burn-able cleansing bundles. Because I burn sage but it gives me and other members of my family a headache. I’m smell/aroma sensitive sometimes and anything too strong gives me a headache. I love the smell of sage but it’s just so strong. I’m not sure if I need a smaller/thinner bundle that burns less at a time or what. If anyone have any recommendations that’d be so helpful
