@@Chevalier_knight what is interesting is they usually take on the older masters. Past their fighting prime. It does not mean these guys are fighters. There is a difference in martial arts in fighter and practitioner. With boxing, mma etc, they all are fighters. In kung fu, karate, aikido, tae kwon do... they are not all fighters. I would suggest better matches between boxer you mentioned and tournament winners. Would be a better comparison.

I mean...brutality is actually a pretty successful way to win a battle. You could go easy and only hit them until they decide to stop fighting, but it's much more effective to hit them hard enough that they actually can't fight anymore. In fact, given the situation of 1 being attacked by a large group, all out brutality to remove people from the fight as quickly as possible is literally the only correct strategy that could be used.

Fist of Legend is the greatest martial arts action movie of all time!!! Jet Li is beyond amazing!! He is the greatest to ever do it and is truly gifted! We won't see another naturally gifted artist like him for the rest of time! He inspired me to study Shao Lin!!! If I could have one wish, it would be to meet him.

Such realism! The fluidity of their moves was pure artistry! It was as though a true master was manipulating their every move! For a moment I had forgotten I was watching a movie! However I do believe the sound track was a bit out of sync with their speech? Also I didn’t realize the Japanese could speak such fluid and perfect English!………Phuuuuuuuuuuuut….yes! That was my butt!

Yeah this is cool, what gets me is the guy comes in after fight and says you're lucky you weren't seriously hurt, all I saw was arms snapping, shoulders buckling and various other 6 month to a year rehabs, when I hear a bone break like a sheared baseball bat, the first thing I think is hey cripple me too buddy

Was always the thing about these old karate movies action flicks, the guys running in one and two at a time, getting flipped, something broken or dislocated, then the next ran in for the same treatment. Even as a kid you were like, why dont they all run in at once, or better yet, just say 'nahhh' and go for a walk.
