Just ordered my CSM from Earlbacher 2 days ago and can’t wait for the next 15 weeks to pass until I have my machine. I’ve watched multiple videos over the last 4+ years while I practiced on my 2 Addi machines which I hope helps shorten my learning curve. Your videos are so well done and you make your verbal explanations so clear I feel I’m going to have success from the start. Thank you for your time spent making these videos.

Thank you so much for your video. I finally finished my first pair of socks that I’m satisfied with🎉 you are a great teacher. But The kitchener stitch part is very difficult to understand

Hello Steve, thank you for all the tutorials. I have done so well with you, however, i am scared to death of my ribber and have been looking for a beginner tutorial on that subject. I haven’t been successful in finding one, do you have any suggestions. Thanks ever so much

Hi could you please let me know the cylinder and ribber 80 needles what size of socks you can make on that setting that’s what I find difficult to decide like that idea of different ribber combinations regards Krystian

Thank you for this wonderful clear demonstration. This was so extremely helpful as I ALWAYS wanted to know how to eliminate those dog - ear toes and heals on the sock. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.

Thank you! I had just received my Earlbacher CSM 3 days ago. I’m in Alaska, so the delivery’s are late in the afternoon. I set up, got my supplies in order oiled everything and went to work. I got several partial projects done, ( getting a feel for the process)... I was doing well-then today happened.. no matter what I did I couldn’t get a feel for anything. Tension, weights... everything.. then I watched this video and realized what was missing.. My Zen was off kilter 😂 I went back to my machine this evening and it all fell into place. Thanks for being a calming influence for me this evening.

Hi Mr. Ashton, please do a video specifically about doing the heel: decreases and increases. I can't seem to do it without getting the little hole after doing the increases. One side is great, the other side has a hole and I don't understand why. Thank you for the great videos.

I add the stitch markers while the sock is still on the machine, as I find it easier to identify the stitches.

I’m looking for a video that shows me how high and how close to put my yarn carrier. Thank you so much for what yo do
@ednawelthorpe55782 жыл бұрын
Thanks for putting up this wonderful guide. I'm wondering about closing the toe at the end though. You start with it rightside out, and number markers 1 - 4. Are the numbers on the other side identical, or reversed? What's confusing me is, once you do the final 4 (marked) stitches, are you still doing "Go around No. 3 and in 2, etc... or because the sock is now inside out, is it different? Do you just do exactly as with the first 4 stitches, or are the stitch numbers reversed? Just can't figure out how it works if it's the same when rightside out as inside out?

Thank you for posting this well made video. Now all I need is to figure out the pattern for a size 6 on my 64/64 Speedster. Got a lot of testing to do. ❤️

@@TheWizardofBC I understand that part but when you wrap with the work yarn, you then remove the wrap and do something with the waste yarn. Just trying to figure that part out. I love the video by the way. This is how I am learning the the right way.

I've wanted a circular sock machine for years. I keep watching CSM tutorials and videos like yours trying to soak up as much information as possible until my miracle happens😉😇. Did you have your Erlbacher sent up from the USA, or did you go on a road trip and pick it up in person?
@TheWizardofBC3 жыл бұрын
I had one of my Erlbacher machines sent to my house and one sent to a friend in Port Angeles, WA that I picked up. Of course I paid SGT on both. The difference was the shipping amount. I saved just under $300.00cdn by having it shipped to a US address and picking it up. But of course you would have to have a US address or a friend. And then cross the border to get it and declare it upon your return.
