In my opinion I think we are confusing calendar /dates to the week. I could change the number of dates and still maintain the week.

Mark 13:24-31 (NKJV Version) Notice what Jesus says will occur AFTER the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem. He clearly describes his second coming as occurring right after the destruction of the temple. He literally ties in the two events (the destruction of the temple and his second coming) by saying in verse 31 "this generation will by no means pass away till ALL these things take place" The Coming of the Son of Man 24 “But in those days, AFTER THAT TRIBULATION (after the fall of Jerusalem), the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; 25 the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send His angels, and gather together His [h]elect from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven. The Parable of the Fig Tree 28 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that [i]it is near-at the doors! 30 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Without a doubt Jesus predicted his second coming would happen right after the destruction of Jerusalem and not thousands of years later.

As we understand it now, His '2nd coming' was in the judgment / destruction of Jerusalem - it was the end of the Israelite era/world/sacrificial system etc. = all that He said [prior to verse 31] would happen during THAT generation which was being addressed. His 'FINAL' coming was then described AFTER verse 31. You will find details on our website - link above - under Content Directory - Bible Prophecy Olivet Discourse: Rome: The Book of Revelation: Christian beliefs/the coming again of Yahushua in John 14..... EXCERPT: There is more than one “coming” of Christ in the New Testament. Most of our writings have centered around that “second appearance” of Christ, which took place in A.D. 70. It was called “second” to His “first” personal appearance.

Brother please read the scriptures and find consistency in the teaching of the coming of Jesus. While we can not pin point the exact day of Christ’s returning we know the place in time which we are in based on the scriptures. Paul says the day of the Lord shall not come until after a falling away first/ the rising of the son of perdition/ the antichrist: “not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” II Thessalonians 2:2-4. This falling away and apostasy was led by the papacy in the dark ages until the reformation. We are now in the time of the end awaiting the coming of the Lord. Of the nature of his coming see below; “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.” II Peter 3:10 NKJV These two blessed reminders and promises give us assurance of the nature and soon return of our Lord

On verse 24-26. There is historical info on the dark day, the meteorite showers and blooded moon. We can assume the these having been already fulfilled in the 18th and 19th we are looking forward for Christ to come in the clouds soon.

@@smithmwinuka7861 He predicted he will return within a generation of when he first spoke those words. Not thousands of years later.

@@smithmwinuka7861 There are predictions of multiple 'returns' of Yahushua to do different things. He definitely gave us no 'signs the time' to pinpoint His final coming.
