Daniel 9, the Crucifixion, and the Calendar Lie

Is it true that the Hasmonians during the time of the Maccabees agreed with Antiochus to follow the Greek calendar? If so, wouldn't be so that it was most likely carried over into the first century? Even though the Essenes followed the Zadok Creation calendar, did the leaders of Israel then follow both the Greek and the Lunisolar calendar due to the Temple Feasts and sabbaths?

How do you squeeze in 3 days and 3 nights from the 14 th of abibe, on the night, when Jesus was put in the tomb, and be raised up by the dawn of the 16th?? I don’t think the math adds up. I don’t think that this math doesn’t add up.

The “SIGN OF JONAS” was a parable! [Read Mat. 12:1 thru to chap. 13:15 to get the full context]. The Parable: For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Mat. 12:40 The meaning and fulfillment: In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, ---Matthew 28:1 [The angel confirmed what Yahushua had said/meant] He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. ------ Matthew 28:6 Paul also confirmed it in I Corinthians 15:4 - "And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:.." Paul does not say 'after' 3 days ….. Matthew 12:40 remains quite perplexing for many today, just as it was meant to be for many to whom it was originally spoken. Yahushua had given them a parable because of their unbelief which would keep them in darkness, as He explained to His disciples later. Search carefully and you will find that there is no text which says Yahushua would be three days and three nights - in the ‘GRAVE’ or ‘TOMB’ - the texts say - in the heart of the earth. Comparing 'the sign of Jonah' to Yahushua being 'in the heart of the earth' is very controversial because of misunderstanding what 'in the heart of the earth' actually means. EXPLANATION: He was the perfect Lamb - without spot or blemish - YET He 'BECAME sin for us'- 'For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of Yahuwah in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 It was the 'shedding of His blood' that was payment for us. With His STRIPES we are healed. All stages of Yahushua's sacrifice for our sin must be taken into consideration. Note carefully how the count can be calculated from the time He was ‘delivered into the hands of the wicked’ according to Luke - ‘Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ Luke 24:7. He was in the 'control' of human wickedness - in man’s heart which is desperately wicked (this earthly system under the power of darkness) meaning 'in the heart of the earth' beginning in the garden when He prayed and submitted to His Father's will = 'not My will but Thy will be done' - that is where His blood was first shed in great drops appearing like sweat from His brow - voluntarily. Therefore, the count of the days and nights must start from that moment, pointing to Him being ‘in the heart of the earth’ and NOT limited to only the period of time when He was actually buried in the GRAVE or TOMB. I love your calendar and much of your teaching. BUT !!! Can you imagine that the 25th of december falls on a Saturday, it would not change the fact that nobody works on Christmas day. Passover is the height Sabbath, it is the great feast of remembrance. It is the beginning of Israël, the first action of God to separate his people from Egypt where they were slaves. Spatially that Passover is the first feast of the year on God's calendar. And who care about what Paul says, if Jesus was not God we may reconcider, but it is derectly from the mouth of Jesus: 3 days and 3 nights as Jonah in the belly of the fish. Messiah and the 70 Weeks Most important to me was the "70 weeks" of Daniel 9, which is commonly applied to the coming of Jesus the Messiah. There is no doubt that Daniel was written prior to the formation of Christianity in the first century AD, and hence holds the most compelling evidence of prophetic inspiration. First to note is that Messianic prophecies are not proof of inspiration, since they have no collaborative support, and the New Testament writers could have falsified the story of Jesus to fit the prophecy, On the other hand, the "70 weeks" did appear uniquely prophetic of the arrival and sacrifice of Jesus. The application of this passage was not originally to the arrival of Jesus, but rather Antiochus IV. The "70 weeks" was only interpreted as a Messianic prophecy decades after Jesus’ death. Recognition of the period of time during which Daniel was written places the events described during the final writer’s time. The "70 weeks" relates to the period ending with the invasion of Antiochus IV. “Messiah the Prince” refers to an anointed one, and is not a term exclusive to Jesus. In Daniel 9, the Anointed Prince was not a liberator, but a destroyer, removing the rightful High Priest and replacing him with his own brother. Whilst there is no single consensus as to exactly what each statement was taken to refer to, the following summary outlines the main aspects. The “anointed” that marks the beginning of the 62 weeks was Jeshua, the first high priest of the restored priesthood under Zerubabbel. The "anointed" whose departure marks the end of the 62 weeks referred to the assassiation of Onias III in 170 B.C., the last "legitimate" high priest. Messiah the Prince involved in the desolation of the city in and desecration of the temple in 167 B.C. was Antiochus IV. The Abomination of Desolation was in installation of the heathen altar on 15 Chislev 167 B.C.

Antiochus? Are you familiar with the Reformation and the resultant counter-Reformation? All of the Reformers believed in the Historicist mode of prophetic interpretation, which is to say that history can be traced from ancient Babylon via the 'metal man,' or 'great image' of Daniel chapter 2, to the present day and the return of Christ. They also believed that the papacy is 'the man of sin' and antichrist of 2 Thess. 2:3. They also unaminously believed of the interpretation of the 'seventy weeks' of Daniel given here. Sir Isaac Newton, for instance gave it lengthy treatment in 'Observations on Daniel.' In order to remove the stigma of 'antichrist' from her, the Catholic Church commissioned the Jesuits to develop competing prophetic modes of interpretation by which she could not possibly be targeted as 'antichrist;' so that the prophetic eyes of Protestants would be diverted from her. Francisco Ribera (1537-1591) laid the foundation for the prophetic mode of interpretation which would later be called 'Futurism,' and which lays at the base of dispensationalist theology. 'Francisco Ribera was the first Catholic expositor to succeed in developing a system of prophetic interpretation to counteract the identification of the papacy as the antichrist. It was the futurist explanation of the three and a half years of antichrist's reign taking place in the future. They were picked up by John Nelson Darby, an ex-Anglican minister who joined the brethren, and the rest is dispensationalist history, with nearly all Protestant churches now teaching Ribera's position on the antichrist. How can it be that Christ was crucify on the most important day of the Israël's year? The Passover was the remeberance Feast of the night that the angel pass over the houses that were mark by the blood of a lamb. Since the command of Mosus, all the Israelites were eating the lamb whit beter herbs and drinking wine on the Passover. So all the lambs had to be sacrfice and prepare on the day of preparation : witch is the day before the Passover. The high Sabbath was the 14 of Abib. So Jesus being the Lamb of God, had to be crucify in preparation for the greatest feast of Israël 's Year : the PassOver. He walk in Jerusalem on the 10 of Habib, surranded by thousant of lambs, and He was juge blamish on the 13 of Abib ( 4 days later ) by Ponspilat, (according to the law ) and He Died at the 9th hour as the Sacrficaters were killing the last lambs. If this is falls He did not fulfile his promess to duplicate the sine of Jonah...
