It is a parade that started as a small but vocal protest march in 1978 against mainly police violence and violence by some in the general community. These days thousands participate with massive support from the general public on the night! We have religious people airing their views too ,protesting in the lead up to the day, they have their rights just as LGBTQI+ have their rights. The floats represent the different groups within the community, there's parents who are there in their own groups supporting their families. This may have been the after party later in the night post parade Its a great night for all who attend!
