The kings of Black/Thrash/Punk/Speed and even smidgens of Doom Metal, easily my favourite band,Sodom. They're also the masters of brutal song titles - The Vice Of Killing, Deathlike Silence immediately spring to mind.

Ah, yes, Sodom. The first band that ever made me say: "That might be TOO heavy!" I love them, but way back in the day when the heaviest stuff I ever heard was Megadeth and Anthrax this was so next level in terms of heavy and brutal that my brain couldn't process it. Then a few years after I heard Dark Tranquility's first album and I said it again.

Back in the 80s I watched a live bootleg of them my buddy from Germany had on VHS. Lol. The whole concert, the drummer had this big, cheesy grin and he was smashing his kit. So entertaining. German thrash is next level!
