You are probably the first people who reacted to this performance, so kudos to whoever suggested it. Susanne is just fantastic, especially live. Here are some recommendations: - White Foxes - Röyksopp & Susanne Sundfør - Ice Machine (Depeche Mode cover) Live on Lydverket - M83 & Susanne Sundfør - Oblivion - The Amorous Humphrey Plugg (live on BBC proms) - The Brothel (studio version or Liva At Parkteatret) - Undercover (live) - Mountaineers (featuring John Grant) - Röyksopp & Susanne Sundfør - Never Ever - The Sound of War (Live at Spellemann)

Why do you say Susanne came long before Eivor? Eivor has been active since 1999! Here first album came out year 2000! So no short cut here!

If you are a metal fan that is interested in or somewhat interested in country music artists like Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson are highly recommended. Finally found a new female country artist that impressed me as well as a metal fan. Sierra Ferrell is awesome and very old school country & western and even does old school jazz as well. She is a Rounder records artist and another Rounder records artists to look up is Samantha Fish. Samantha Fish is labeled as contemporary blues but is much more then Contemporary blues because she mixes in alot of genres. Rounder Records artists are awesome musicians just like Nuclear Blasts artists for metal music.

@@midnight-2021 Thank you so much for your reply. I will definitely check out your suggestions. I have heard of and like Samantha Fish. I haven't heard of the other names. Even though Metal and Rock are my main musical taste ..I will listen to and like music from many genres. Take care, stay safe 👍✌️🤘☮️

I dont think they are influenced by eachother but it is the traditional way of singing in most of the scandinavian countries. If you listen to scandinavian singers, most of them sings this way.

This will always, always be my favorite of her songs. It's so dark. And light. And dark. And that dissonance just drives the creeps on home. It's perfection. Her talent stops you in your tracks.

I kinda doubt she was influenced by Eivor, they kinda came out at the same time. Though I think both she and Eivor are into Depeche Mode.. So that kinda explains it ;)!
