Been a fan of the band for about 35 years. An addict. Find all the live footage I can, anywhere I can..... This, in my opinion, was Bon Jovi at their peak. I firmly believe you can put those 2 shows in '95 at Wembly up against any iconic concerts in history, and they will hold their own. This performance in particular, might be one of their best. Glad to see a reaction to it.

Great band - awesome song. This is the best version of Always to watch so good choice. I read somewhere that the lyrics he sang from 9.10 to 9.40 during the second guitar solo were adlibbed.

I went to many Jovi shows in the UK over the years but in 95 Jon was at the top of his game. they played 3 nights at wembley that weekend, fri sat and sunday and I was lucky enough to be at 2 including this one. There is a DVD of this concert well worth a watch, it was trimmed down though as they did a 3 hour set that night. Shame Jon has lost his voice in recent years, they were amazing live back in the day.

My mate and I went to Thailand and were in 1 of those bars where the house band are criminally underrated, to the point the talent on stage should be heard world wide, and they took requests, and we chose this song and belted it out from the front table, 7 songs later we requested it again but this time they got us up to sing it with them (unfortunately for the rest of the bar) good times.

It always makes smile when people interpret this is a nice romantic song. It was written for a movie called if i remember correctly 'romeo is bleeding'. Its written from the perspective of a obsessive stalker type 'nut job' as jbj once described it. Jon didn't like the script so puiled it and it was never used.
