In 4 days, it will be the 1 year anniversary of when Hi Ren premiered. It currently has over 22 million views. I think it would be really cool for all of the reactors to make a video for Ren, telling him what an impact he has had on us all this past year. He's changed lives.

"He's just a dude, doing some phenomenal shit" was possibly my favourite line when I saw the official BTS film. I mean, I don't even think it's because of what it tells us about your impression of Ren; it's more related to how good you are at vlogging. 1) You pull the viewer in immediately in the BTS, and made us care about you (and I don't think you need to have been a TheWolfJohnson youtube channel watcher before watching the BTS for this to be true) 2) You introduced us to Connor and you chose bits of your convo that really established that you two were getting along in what seems like a really comfortable way 2) You showed us without droning on and on and on about it that you had some nerves about meeting Ren - what you included in the edit left me with the impression that you had already internally been trying to talk yourself out of it so that you didn't have the nerves interfering with filmmaking/documenting decisions you were going to have to make as you went, simultaneously under pressure because you had to get all the footage you might need in such a short amount of time. 3) The moment you actually *met* Ren... idk if I'm the only one, but it felt like I could feel whatever nerves you hadn't been able to subdue, sort of collect in intensity as Ren "ambushed" you (not sure that's exactly what happened but it seemed like even though you KNEW he was gonna be there, you weren't ready for him to COME AT YOU lol. You certainly weren't ready to get the camera on him when he appeared)... but it was like when you guys hugged, I could feel the tension evaporate. 4) the scene in the Garden Party folks' kitchen *really* followed through on how casual/comfortable/relaxed/equal the social dynamic was even when now including a stranger dropped into the mix 5) so your exchange with Connor in the car afterwards.. "He's just a dude, doing some phenomenal shit" ... it was a super real statement. It encapsulated your experience of being a fan of some dude's incredibly music being asked out of the blue to come be a part of his next HUGE project, and then when you arrived, any anxiety you hadn't managed to take care of ahead of time vanishing in an instant. Like popping a bubble wand bubble. Despite being a HUGE Ren fan myself, by the time you showed up at the Garden Prty house I was less invested in seeing your film show that Ren was just "some normal dude" than I was in the story arc of your anxiety in meeting him. Because you sketched it out so well. And then of course, the film DOES show in those first moments in the kitchen, that Ren *is* "just some dude" so when you say "He's just a dude, doing some phenomenal shit," the viewer *knows* you're not just saying shit to the camera for fan service lol. That's probably a lot of words to explain something that someone else could have expressed more succinctly, but... idk, I figured trying to give details about something one viewer felt was *really* successfully done, that really connected with me on a few different human levels, might be the kind of feedback that would be helpful for you. Your BTS is an artistic creation, and it's worth more than "I'm a Ren fan, thank you for filming Ren for us! He's such a great guy, you're so lucky you got to meet him and see him while he does his phenomenal shit!"
@Anuta66755 ай бұрын

I saw "Money game 3" day 1. I watch many many maaaaaaaany reactions. I had to wait yesterday to know there was a BTS. Now I'm here, at the end of the video and have to say thank you for this, that's just exactly what I needed. I'm a bit "jealous" I wasn't there, I would have so much enjoy giving my little brick to help this amazing artist who, like a lot of people changed my life (and I'm 53; so your life can change anytime). I'm so happy to see people living for art and not just make art lo live. All this team are people I would love to meet, talk, have a drink with and share some moment of life. I think the day he needs someone for anything of his pmasterpiece I will catch the first plane to say: I'm here! What can I do for help?!! After this documentary of 2'23" I feel at the same time empty and full of joy, mix with sadness, kind of melancholy. Well...I'm on emotions, that's what Ren gives. Thank you thank you thank you all again and you Wolf to share this. and of course: I'm a new subscriber now.

This reminds me of my time in the theater as an assistant director. Get the preparations, samples, equipment, repair. Last minute disasters. Then the excitement of the dress rehearsal. Excitement and concentration. Ren must have felt exactly like I did on opening day. Just one chance. In your case, the rain was doomed to a one-take. And then the curtain. And even though it was over, nobody knew what to do with themselves. When Ren said he didn't know whether to cry- I felt that way. We were of no use for days. Premiere hole. When the play stopped playing, we would meet up and talk about how we were doing so we wouldn't fall into depression. We felt so lonely without the theater family. What I found particularly great about Ren's set: There was no evaluation afterwards. We always had to endure that the day after the premiere. Everyone knew what didn't go so well or what they could have done better. Why pick on it. Ren just thanked everyone and thats it. That felt good. He also thought about the little boy who shouldn't have to wear a sack over his head for hours. Wonderful. So focused. I always wondered: how does he remember every comment he gets along the way? I had to write everything down. Unbelievable, this focus! And the politeness on set. Simply great. I would work with a team like that again in a heartbeat.

I finally had time and opportunity to watch this. It didn't feel 2,5 h at all. All those noises, harsh, steely, beeping, dragging or whatever sounds didn't bother at all, they made it real, made me feel like actually being there. But that silence! When you tell about your friend's death. That silence after that was a dagger to the heart. One more thing. Related to the title. I said in a comment somewhere before that the change is perhaps the deepest theme in this. I still think that. It is so almost tangible. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this video is that the extent to which it displays REN’s modesty. Obviously he himself is an extremely talented musician but at the end of the video, he is not to proud to ask Charlie the Pianist to send him a video of his hands, when he is playing the piece, so that Ren himself can learn how to play the piece more ergonomically. Ren always willing to be the humble student when appropriate.

I think its great to show(case) juat how much effort and hard work was put in by everyone and quite rightly that Should include yourself - and despite how long this BTS, to think it still only shows highlights out of hundreds of hours - i imagine there could even be a BTS of the BTS post-production work yo'uve had to put in in selecting the right clips, music accompaniment, arrangement etc - so many decisions if it were me i think my head would have exploded! Oh wow Wolf - that was amazing and a fantastic insight. Can’t believe I’ve only just got around to watching this. Belated deepest sympathies for losing your friend, too. I’m just going through a similar thing but my 27 year old niece, who just took her own life this week.😢
