I got quite discouraged when I started out this summer and I ended up learning the magic ring alternative (chaining 2 and getting as many stitches as necessary in) and I honestly don't feel the need to learn the actual magic ring, this method looks completely fine as an end result tbh. 🙃

I got a pikachu crochet kit (how I started liking crochet in the first place) and it was honestly HORRIBLE. the hook was the width of pencil led and the yarn isn’t any different. Plus I had to WATCH KZbin VIDEOS to learn how to do it and the book it came with helped nothing at all. That’s why I think woobles would be way better for beginners

Magic rings are literally the easiest thing ever it's a loose slipknot thats it. It really takes like two seconds to learn. Do the finger cross x technique and to see if you did it right pull it thought if it makes a slip knot boom you now know how to make a magic ring
